@DontTreadSoccer @USsoccerdude @FutureUsmnt@USMNTvideos Would need to see him regularly against better competition (1 game against the MEX B squad is not sufficient) to agree with you. I get this sense that he is still more tentative than aggressive/comfortable on the ball
@SeanMonaghanSM I hope you’re right. Projecting success from youth talent is so difficult in almost every team sport. That’s why something like half of all NFL first rounders are out of the league in 3 years.
@ChelseaFCinUSA @cpulisic_10 Try as you may, a whole gaggle of people will still get Pulisic jerseys with the number 24 on them - and when they find out what his true number is, they will come back and angrily blame you. #thisistwitter
@SeanMonaghanSM I’m skeptical this would happen under Berhalter. I too believe the players you named along with Dest and Ledezma bring a level ov technical talent not present in many in this 23. I just don’t understand Berhalter’s player selection. Curious if we’ll start to see Long over Brooks
@TheRealArturK It was very discouraging seeing who he rates. Makes me nervous that he won’t rate any of them til they’re regular starters. And even then, who knows. Very anxious he won’t call up Dest and we’ll lose him to the Dutch. He’s potentially a transcendent back. NOT a fan of GGG.
@Stebe79 @_Susaeta Brooks *might* be the best player in the pool (along with Adams/Pulisic). Our best passing CB by a mile. His composure gives us a much better opportunity to play out of the back. I think he is taken for granted way too often.
@zlebmada just finished the great pod with Quill. I heard you say you’d be interested in hanging with him. If you ever take him up on it and need a place to stay, we live in McKinney - 15 min from the training ground in Frisco. Happy to have you (as long as my wifey clears it 😉)
@Chrisawesome63 @mysocceralt @JayAH985 @zlebmada Not really an overuse type of injury - more like overextension or when there is high sheering force exerted in that area - common when extending for a ball, going in on a challenge, or even just changing direction suddenly.
@Chrisawesome63 @mysocceralt @JayAH985 @zlebmada 2/2 a diagnosis of a “sports hernia” which is given when pain doesn’t go away in the groin after adequate rest. It’s pretty common in soccer and hockey players in particular.
