2Do for mac will be updated first with all the major refinements. It's shaping up very nicely, absolutely loving how smooth it feels. Moved from working on sync โ to updating the UI / UX. So much to improve. So much already improved.
@bobshu36 Working ~20 hours a day; it's been 50 days+ like this non-stop. When I started I thought it would finish in two weeks. I still think it's another two weeks at this rate, but there's just too much to do! Hopefully soon!
@CesarAzmitia Two-way Reminders sync support is coming (first to the Mac app) and should solve this issue :)
There are going to be minor limitations to what can sync - primarily due to Reminders 3rd party support - but Iโve got a nice workaround cooked for cross device sync.
@PhilipLeworthy The Android app is going to unfortunately remain on CalDAV + Dropbox sync for now. I'll be updating it to fix a few issues as well as Tablet related compatibility issues but not major features planned. It remains functional the way it is albeit with a few limitations.
@ebruns69 Thank you! Aiming to make it the only app with the features it'll offer and the level of 3rd party integration it'll support (in terms of sync). On a mission ๐ช
I never thought Iโd say this: the Impossible Sync Engineโข is finally ready ๐
Rewritten from the ground up, it opens the door to syncing and importing from almost anything and everything.
And a whole lot more. Just warming up. Hopefully, coming soon.
@elidizer It's the other way around, 2Do acquired BusyCal in ~2017. This is 2Do taking on the same upgrade model after 17+ years of free updates: https://t.co/qUpV8ear7u
Renewals are already discounted and offer 18 months of updates
You're welcome to write to [email protected] any time!
@ELIDIZER I'd recommend you switch to the direct version of the mac app, the Mac App Store will be switching to subscription (not the direct version though)

@Uniquifying Indeed :) The only thing crazy enough to march along in madness and undertake the impossible.
Sure - will look into this. Bear with me as I am working on multiple fronts as we speak.
Efforts to improve 2Do's innards, especially the impossible-sync-engine, have reaccelerated. This opens the door to more sync options and better interoperability in future. Still a lot to finish, but with my head down and moving forward ๐.
A small glimpse of the website refresh
@SunilVeluchamy Hopefully will work on something like that in the near future, for now I've put most of my efforts into BusyCal that handles this well https://t.co/jamsL5xpc6
@eyeonpower Same - working on a sync overhaul as we speak. Hopefully will also bring native CloudKit sync so you don't have to worry about sync in general, it should just magically work across all devices.
@suziee21 It will! I'm aiming to add support for many more cloud storage options in the future, including self-hosted WebDAV services. In addition to improved CalDAV sync with services (such as NextCloud) that natively support Parent / Sub-task in their web portals
@OfficialLoganK Gemini is amazing within AI Studio but nearly unusable in GeminiCLI. Constantly falls over in complex code bases, consistently fails to edit files, gets lost in its thought process and is underwhelming in agentic tasks (all issues reported on GitHub). Rooting for Gemini still.
