An initiative by AMMACHI Labs of Amrita University
A controller for platform games made by 7th graders out of coins. It was a Eureka moment when Pranav and Amritesh found some coins in their pocket! Made a game in @scratch, connected the coins to #Kappa and mapped the keys. Voila!

Students at Amrita Vidyalayam School, Secunderabad recreate the Infinity Gauntlet of #Thanos from @Marvel#Avengers#Endgame using which half of the sprites in @scratch stage disappear. The Kappa capacitive touch sensing #Arduino shield made at @ammachilabs was used.
@scratch@nrusk Awesome read. We @2econdFoundatn uses similar approach. Here's how we collaborated before using #scratch with #hummingbird.
The same rhythm goes on until they create a theme-based project in scratch and integrate it with hummingbird. @birdbraintech

@MmeCPenney@scratch@ScratchEdTeam @ElizabethParkEl Great to see the students working in groups! 😍
Mind sharing the kind of works they do? Curious about the way you're integrating scratch into the classroom.
Creative Robotics! The kids are exposed to tech through #creative exercises such as exploring finite state machines using flexagons and a lot more. Here are kids of Amrita Vidyalayam Hyd starting off with three days CR workshop.

Remember #Kappa, the capacitive touch sensing Arduino shield we made at @ammachilabs? We gave it to students of Amrita Vidyalayam Hyderabad to make spectacular projects! Here's a virtual one person musical band!
That tiny colourful thing is Kappa!
