@DevLowOnBattery also your voice sounded so familiar and the name too and I remember now !! ur country tv pilot literally my fav in votipkas screenwriting class and this is amazing as well!!

[siakamSpinEnthusiast @2firewalkwithme]

@DevLowOnBattery love the little bookend with the flower wilting back to b&w…is this a hopeful dream? reminiscing on the past before you leave? feels v bittersweet (most positive connotation) and up to interpretation #thirdvoiceparty

@daanabubba "part of healing is just acceptance" combined with the imagery of a full lunar cycle (many days) is like the third voice is time itself #thirdvoiceparty

[siakamSpinEnthusiast @2firewalkwithme]

@daanabubba magic trick. idk how you kept this idea genuinely interesting and mystifying for a full 4 minutes but i could have continued watching this for another 10. feels like the opening credits to a gothic romance movie;the flowers reminded me of movie zone of interest #thirdvoiceparty

@allie_afterlife so good!! sm personality inserted into little sections (tone of voice, choosing to omit the narration once even though there are subtitles, editing all around) ;; the recurring line "i am horses" is oddly brain soothing/calming?? i love it #thirdvoiceparty

[siakamSpinEnthusiast @2firewalkwithme]

@allie_afterlife looooove the section before 2:39 before abruptly cutting back to the narrator, "what was i talking about?" #thirdvoiceparty

[siakamSpinEnthusiast @2firewalkwithme]

@iknooneaskedbut also the slowed ceiling fan at 3:43 gave me PTSD to this twin peaks scene (https://t.co/efYwUKKIbB), no clue if that was inspo but it was very haunting combined with the ending 10 seconds glitching out #thirdvoiceparty

[siakamSpinEnthusiast @2firewalkwithme]

@iknooneaskedbut the pure aggression in the hairtie throw into the garbage can is v impactful, especially bc we've only seen the cupboard up to this point #thirdvoiceparty

[siakamSpinEnthusiast @2firewalkwithme]

through both rewatching my video and watching others for peer review I really like this opposition between outside (driving around) vs inside visuals and how that relates to the glitched monologue, even though i did not put this together intentionally #hwa7 #listening

[siakamSpinEnthusiast @2firewalkwithme]

-exposes something kind of beautiful? once the boundary is broken a whole new perspectivee shapens #hwa7 #thirdvoice

[siakamSpinEnthusiast @2firewalkwithme]

I think that the Third Voice is less of a creation and more of a realization that forms due to not adhering strictly to one voice and the other, listener and creator. Patty's breaking of immersion between a theatrical performer and her "role" as an audience member-

[siakamSpinEnthusiast @2firewalkwithme]

-operate with this greater context surrounding why exactly I'm choosing to forego a simple A-B narrative #hwa7 #surrealism

[siakamSpinEnthusiast @2firewalkwithme]

Patty explains that surrealism has provided an opportunity for outsiders and rejects from traditionally structured media to thrive and carve their own path ;; im not sure if my smes are in dialogue or opposition with patty, but I like to think that I can now-

also discussed in a prior tweet but using familiar spaces not as a fallback due to limited budget/location availability but as a weapon, or a tool to explore or even personalize my project further #hwa7 #budgetconstraints

[siakamSpinEnthusiast @2firewalkwithme]

-which can both complement or contradict other parts of the project #hwa7 #propsarenotjustprops

[siakamSpinEnthusiast @2firewalkwithme]

discussed in a prior tweet and its not necessarily a prop but the costume design of the American flag shirt when doing the boy (sport) vs girl (soap opera) section in season 2, teaching that familiar imagery can be exploited to create an entirely new deeper meaning-
