I never heat any of the rooms - I have one of those mini heater-blowers on the desk next to me to take the chill off. No more than an hour a day. Luckily I'm used to the cold but not many are. But I need brushes & ink..

Without that I'd be done for. It really is not enough money by any stretch. Yes, I have to have Internet for UC Journal completion.

@Captain34466242 I remember 1972 when they "rationed" electricity due to a miners' strike. They went on a 'work to rule' working only 3 days a week & coal was running out. So they would turn the leccy off every day, sometimes for 8 hours or so. It was grim. Candles. Wouldn't put it past 'em now.
