It has been 4 weeks.
Trump has not pumped my bags or changed social security payments to be in XRP.
We need to impeach him. I didn't vote for this shit.
Pepe's Pump Pad is in the final deep code review this week.
What's that?
It means the Pump Pad is nearly complete and we are reviewing the entirety of the Pump Pad to ensure it is flawless when it goes live.
So you ask.. Wen? SOON 🐸💚
Trump just said the US will be the capital of crypto and AI.
Which is good because I have giant bags of crypto and AI.
What yachts are we pre-buying today gentlemen?
Your not about to see an alt season like in past bulls.
Those were funded by us broke peasants. Limited potential.
Your about to see a country, corporation, banking, billionaire and institution alt season.
100x bigger.
There’s been a lot of turmoil within the @HyperliquidX community over the past 24 hours following KAM @KamBenbrik message from @ChorusOne.
Even though I mostly tweet in French (désolé les amis, ce tweet ne concernera pas tout le monde), I think it’s important to respond to this since I’m actively involved in this community
In this debate I have the unique perspective of seeing both sides and sharing both sentiments
On one hand, through my audience and activities on social media, I share the community’s interests in decentralization
On the other hand, through my company @Meria_Finance I also see the realities faced by validators realities that many people involved in the debate may not fully understand
From the perspective of a validator:
Some points can be raised without being interpreted as an intent to spread FUD
Frequent jailing:
It’s common for our validator to get jailed. When no one, even among the operators active on the team’s Discord is able to identify the cause, it can become frustrating.
That said, all validators are treated equally under the same rules.
The frustration stems from the lack of concrete insights to improve or prevent these incidents from happening again. However the rules remain fair.
tHYPE black market:
Let me start by saying that HL is aware of the situation. While some validators do buy testnet tokens the majority of us those with a certain reputation play by the rules and compete fairly based on uptime
However, being excluded from the competition if you’re not in the top 50 tHYPE delegations feels harsh (maybe too harsh ??).
If the goal is to select the most competent operators, why impose such a barrier? The best operator might not have a community large enough to push them into the top 50.
I’ll be fully transparent: we’ve been working on HL since late October. I’ve spoken extensively about the project to my community and even created YouTube content about it because I truly believe in it
I’ve also called on this community multiple times for support in keeping Meria in the list of the active testnet set
Despite all our efforts (both personal and professional) we’re not sure we’ll hold our position long enough time in the active testnet to secure a spot on the mainnet
This black market naturally frustrates us and even more so because this frustration doesn’t feel "fair"
But once again, the rules are the same for everyone..
On the complexity of running a validator:
While it’s relatively simple to set up a validator on Hyperliquid’s testnet: maintaining an uptime among the best is a real challenge
For reference at Meria, we operate validators on about 40 networks (~200+ servers), and Hyperliquid has accounted for 91% of our on-call time over the past two weeks
That said, creating stress on a testnet to see who handles it best can be a solid selection criterion. Investing so much maintenance effort into a single project demonstrates commitment. Everyone makes their bets, and Meria made its bet on Hyperliquid
In conclusion
To support the project’s growth and values, I think it’s essential for everyone to be able to express themselves without it sparking waves of FUD or anger. The goal is simply to open the debate and foster constructive discussions
Whether or not you agree with his arguments, I don’t believe Kam intended to spread FUD.
Yes, Chorus One is a major player, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t passionate individuals among them people who, just like you and me, are behind their Twitter (or validators monitoring ahah) on contributing with dedication
Well, with that conclusion, here’s something to spark some debates. Your feedback will be invaluable 🙏
Technical suggestions:
To further improve the stability of validators, here are some technical suggestions from our teams. We’d love to hear your feedback:
1/Enhanced documentation: Provide more details on which services run behind each port (RPC, API, P2P, etc.) and how to use them to monitor nodes could help a lot
2/Local communication with the node: Allow operators to retrieve additional monitoring information (latest block height, number of connected peers, software version, etc.). This would help us to develop more stable, higher-quality tools
3/Notifications for network updates:
Implement an automated notification system (Discord, Telegram, webhook, bucket, API) prior to network updates. Even a one-minute warning could prevent incidents like jailing
Non satire post : Before we all get drunk on insane gains.
I'm going to remind you one last time (on deaf ears) in the not so distant future this market will take everything back. MOST participants will suffer INCREDIBLE losses.
People will go bankrupt. Go to jail. Con each other. Steal. Abandon projects. Be robbed on the platforms they store money on.
It will be bad. It always gets bad. You just haven't seen crypto dark side in awhile.
SO : While we are up and likely to be up quite a bit longer...(I'm by no means bearish right now)
Some quick tips (ESPECIALLY if your new/in your first run)
A) Don't extend yourself or push to hard
Your not a genius. Its a bull. Everything keeps going up so it seems like this isn't as risky as it actually is.
If your semi new, this is not your big chance. Its your introductory class. Focus on learning. Your time is LIKELY next run. Don't force crazy balls out moves.
B) FOCUS on surviving till the bear.
The bear is your chance. EVERYONE whose turbo rich here bought in the bear. We didn't tier 10 turbo gamble mid bull and make it.
C) DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING
Everyone lies here. No one predicts shit. No one has any clue what the market will due. Most who seem like geniuses or "crypto savvy" now will be revealed as idiots in the bear.
The hype/bad predictions/fomo these people insight is biblical. Do not drink the kool aid.
You can make a lot of money in crypto. But not as much as you THINK . It won't be as easy as you think.
It will take learning, time and LIKELY sitting through a 3 year boring bear period and buying this shit when no one wants anything to do with it.
Lower your expectation, expect to make some huge mistakes, lower or aim a bit.
We are likely going to fly here. But make no mistake you are playing crypto at its most DANGEROUS point.
Bulls are where people get slaughtered. Bears are where they turn into kings.
Okay back to posting green dildos.
