@OldSheffield Yes, and they all had to be white Portland stone I seem to remember reading somewhere. People do forget how black and dismal old buildings looked before the age of the sand blaster.
@mrhenrymorris Don't know about anyone else, but I've felt, well so free since we left the EU. I can do so many more things than I could before. Just can't remember what they are, that's all.
@sturdyAlex Watching the election 97 coverage, the descriptions of the conflicts in the Tory party are almost the same as today, they are still as disfunctional
@sturdyAlex I suppose what really matters is what the 'swing voters' (if we still use that term in today's fractured politics) think, not politics nerds like us. They will elect the next government
@PolitlcsUK@thetimes A lot of people seem to be missing the point. Choosing to not eat for 36 hours is weird. Weird and Prime Minister should not appear in the same sentence.
@DrMatthewSweet If all storms are man made and named, where are all the unnamed natural storms? Also, it's helpful of the conspirators to name their artificial storms to give us a clue to identify them
@ScarredForLife2 I quite liked walking up to the outside toilet with my comic tucked under my arm on a crisp autumnal morning as a kid in the 70s. A bracing start to the day.
@montie@amolrajan Oh really, thanks for the tip I'll take his contributions more seriously. Sounds like my kind of guy (apart from the unilateral disarmament).
@BladeoftheS Remember, they think that is totally normal. They can't understand that the rest of us don't think avoiding paying your way is acceptable.
