Hemos creado máquinas que responden cualquier pregunta en segundos.

Fortunas capaces de alimentar al planeta entero varias veces.

Un poder tecnológico y económico que nuestros abuelos no habrían podido imaginar.

Y sin embargo,
mira a tu alrededor.
Mira hacia adentro.

¿Hay más paz?
¿Hay más encuentro?
¿Hay más seres humanos que se conocen a sí mismos?

Aquí está la verdad que nadie quiere decir en voz alta:
El poder no sana.
El poder no alimenta el alma.
El poder no construye el hogar interior donde una persona se siente, por fin, en casa consigo misma.

El poder solo hace una cosa con eficiencia perfecta:
crecer.
Y cuando crece sin conciencia,
todo lo demás (la tierra, el tiempo, las personas) se convierte en su instrumento.

Lo vemos en la riqueza concentrada en pocas manos que se justifica diciendo
“estamos construyendo el futuro”.

Lo vemos en tecnologías que nos prometen servirnos mientras nos vuelven más dependientes.

Lo vemos, si somos honestos, en nuestro propio ego, que usa la misma consigna a escala pequeña: controlo porque ayudo, acumulo porque protejo, domino porque sé lo que es mejor.

La inteligencia sin conciencia escala poder. La conciencia le pone propósito y límite.

Y ese límite no nace de la razón ni del cálculo.

Nace del amor — la única fuerza capaz de hacernos elegir en contra de nuestro propio engrandecimiento.

Por eso el trabajo más urgente de esta era no está en los laboratorios ni en los mercados.

Está en ti.

Porque una humanidad con más poder del que su conciencia puede sostener es un niño con fuego en las manos.

Y la única forma de emparejar esa carrera no es frenar el poder de otros: es despertar el propio.

Puedes comenzar hoy.

La próxima vez que sientas el impulso de controlar,
de acumular,
de tener razón —
detente.
Respira.
Pregúntate:
¿esto nace del miedo que quiere crecer, o del amor que quiere servir?

Somos seres espirituales viviendo una experiencia terrenal.

No vinimos a acumular poder.

Vinimos a recordarlo.

400 years of Earth's magnetic North Pole wanderings 🧭

For centuries, Earth’s magnetic north pole has been slowly drifting — but in recent decades, its movement has accelerated dramatically.

Historical records dating back to the early 1600s show the pole gradually migrating from the Canadian Arctic toward Siberia. For most of that time, it moved at a modest pace of about 10 miles (16 km) per year.

Since the mid-20th century, however, the speed has surged — now racing at nearly 35 miles (56 km) per year. In 2017, it crossed the International Date Line, and it continues its rapid journey toward Russia.

What’s driving this sudden acceleration?

Deep beneath the surface, in Earth’s outer core — an immense ocean of molten iron roughly 1,800 miles (2,900 km) below our feet — swirling currents of liquid metal generate the planet’s magnetic field through dynamo action. Changes in these flows can tug the magnetic poles in new directions.

Currently, the molten iron is churning more vigorously beneath Siberia than under Canada, pulling the magnetic north pole faster toward the east.

Unlike the fixed geographic North Pole, the magnetic pole is never truly stationary — it can shift slightly from day to day. But the long-term trajectory, reconstructed from 400 years of data including old ship logs, compass readings, volcanic rocks, and modern satellite observations, reveals a clear and accelerating trend.

Why does this matter?

Compasses point to magnetic north. Rapid shifts affect:

· Airport runway designations

·Smartphone compass sensors

· GPS backup systems

· Navigation models used worldwide

· Even the migration patterns of animals like whales, birds, and sea turtles that rely on Earth’s magnetic field for orientation

As the pole races onward, global navigation databases must be frequently updated to keep pace with its unpredictable sprint.

The Oceans are Losing their Breath. They’re no longer just "buffering" climate change; they are reaching a structural breaking point. In this second article in a series on Ocean Stratification (the layering of water that prevents mixing), Jan and I examine a "triple whammy" of environmental failures:

The Deoxygenation Crisis: Warmer surface layers are trapping heat and losing oxygen. Since the mid-20th century, 1%–2% of global ocean oxygen has vanished, creating "dead zones" where marine species literally struggle to breathe.

Chemical & Visual Shifts: We have officially breached the Planetary Boundary for Ocean Acidification, threatening foundational species like coral and shellfish. Simultaneously, the oceans are "darkening" as biomass and particles accumulate in the surface, further trapping heat in a dangerous feedback loop.

A Stalling Carbon Pump: The "biological pump"—the process where marine life moves carbon to the deep ocean—is slowing down. Rising temperatures are creating a "thermal wall" that disrupts the (vertical)migration of carbon-recycling species.

The Bottom Line: The ocean's capacity to absorb our emissions is flattening. As stratification strengthens and marine heatwaves become the "new normal," the transition of our oceans from a stable climate sink to a volatile risk source is one of the most significant challenges of this century.
