7 in 10 Americans oppose data centers in their area, but Kaela Berg and Matt Klein voted to give the richest corporations in the world massive tax breaks to build data centers in Minnesota.
Under that bill, companies like Meta, OpenAI, and Google will receive a tax break for 35 YEARS (!!!), worth at least $300 million in the first two years and potentially tens of billions over the coming decades, just by building their data centers here in Minnesota.
Entire communities feel blindsided by the impact these massive centers have on their way of life. Noise, light, air, and water pollution concerns go unheard because local leaders are signing NDA’s, and serve at the behest of these companies, not their fellow citizens.
I’ve been a city councilor and a mayor. I know what it feels like to fight for your town, to fight for jobs and housing. But that stability can’t come at the cost of long-term health and millions of taxpayer dollars in secret meetings.
When I’m elected to Congress, I’ll fight to regulate these data centers, ban the signing of NDAs by elected officials, and I won’t give one more cent of taxpayer money to these companies.
100% of copper mines have polluted water downstream. This mine will be no different.
And why? So Twin Metals' Chilean parent company can profit by shipping our copper ore to China to be smelted and sold on the global market.
It’s up to Congress to permanently protect the BWCA.
Hi there, it’s me again, Coco Little,
Growing up, life wasn’t easy for Matt and me. My mom struggled to support us on one income as a new arrival to this country. Matt’s parents grappled with serious medical issues, healthcare bills, economic downturns, financial hardship, and the struggles of raising three boys (especially when one is Matt!).
But with a lot of support from friends, family, and community, we are proud to say we’re now living the American dream.
Everyone should have the opportunity to live their dream. The wealth in this country is immense. Billionaires shoot rockets into space and pollute our waterways, while families struggle to afford healthcare, childcare, and put food on the table.
It doesn’t have to be this way. We can fix this country, but we need leaders who fight for change and stand up for what’s right.
Matt is that fighter–and when you fight for this campaign, you’re fighting for an end to the greed and corruption that has plagued our communities for too long.
If you’re sick of the greed and corruption, join our campaign: https://t.co/JS7KF1n1DS
No more tinkering! A public option isn’t good enough, we need Medicare for All.
Yet, our elected leaders want to tinker with it a little longer.
Families can’t afford mounting medical bills. Parents have to decide whether to take their children to the doctor or wait just a bit longer in case it clears on its own. Working people who may not have insurance or adequate insurance are putting off preventive care for years, only to become sick and unable to work and pay their bills later.
Every day, this plays out across our country. We are getting sicker because someone else is getting richer. But our elected leaders need just a little longer. They want a slow transition with public options at its center. That will just waste more lives, time and money. We need Medicare for All now, not more waiting and transition plans.
I’m sick of it. I’m sick of the greed and corruption. If you’re sick of it, too, join our campaign. Let’s finally pass Medicare for All.
“A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again.” -trump
Only one class of weapons can prevent a civilization from being brought back: nuclear weapons.
The Cabinet must invoke the 25th Amendment, now.
@SydneyJordanMN I have seen 3 separate posts saying a member of the MN house of Representatives emptied trash on the capitol grounds post "No Kings" rally. Can you confirm this and let me know the consequences? There should be monetary fines to say the least.

He bought the presidency to escape justice.
The person under investigation is now in charge of the investigators.
The person facing criminal charges now controls law enforcement funding.
This is the most extensive conflict of interest in American government history.
This isn't democracy. This is oligarchy.
Sources: Senate reports, court filings, DOJ documents, SEC filings, NYT/WSJ/CNN/CNBC reporting. Everything is documented and verifiable.
ICE beat a man in custody so bad he had 8 skull fractures, and other broken bones. They told the hospital he tried to escape and ran himself into a brick wall.
This is what Dems in Congress voted for by funding the govt last year. Don't do it again.

@tomemmer How are you justifying your support for this administration based on the recent release of evidence in the Epstein files? Your constituents have been asking.
This is one of the school superintendents in a western district of the Twin Cities. She and school board members are being followed and intimated. This has nothing to do with immigration. It’s about creating fear.
