Our first meeting back after summer & we were nearly deafened when we asked if the Brownies were excited to be back!📢

We had a fab time pottery painting last night 🎨. Hopefully our Platinum Jubilee crown coasters will be ready for our Jubilee party next week!🇬🇧🎈

As well as cooking pancakes, we enjoyed a game of ‘flappy pancakes’ - the Brownies have requested we play this every week not just on pancake day! 😂🥞

After receiving our letters from Hogwarts, last night we enjoyed a whole host of wizarding fun! Potions, wands, games, food and fancy dress 🧙‍♀️🦉⚡️

Last night we were lucky enough to be joined by David & Gail from Chorley’s Angels to start off our First Aid Skills Builder. We learnt all about DR ABC and put the recovery position into practice. @Girlguiding @Girlguiding_NWE

Phew, the leaders have just about recovered from our sleepover this weekend! After a couple of postponements it finally happened 🥳

Teepees, cinema screen, playground, takeaway, campfire songs, fun with friends… what more could a Brownie want?!!

In the morning we were joined by our lovely local florist for a flower arranging workshop - slightly more traditional but everyone had lots of fun, plus the arrangements are being gifted as good turns!

Eloise and Maisy also achieved Gold and made us some brilliant bunting to hang in our meeting place. They were also fantastic decorations for our afternoon tea party! Well done both!

Silvia was awarded her Brownie Gold Award tonight. For her Gold Challenge she made a memory book which all our leavers will write in from now on - well done Silvia!

We’re all loving being back at face-to-face meetings! Tonight we ‘taped to create’ and decorated weather-forecasting rocks for Father’s Day 🎨🌧☀️🌪
