We did it! Yesterday We took over a primary school for the day! Did Archery, axe throwing, navigation, backwards cooking, ate bugs and slimed some teachers! Nearly 300 young people shown #skills4life

Remembrance Sunday 2022

On Sunday 13th November 2022 the customary observance of Remembrance will take place at Hartshill Park, Oakengates.

The parade will step off from outside the Salvation Army building at 10:30am in advance of the outdoor service at 10:55am.

We had a lovely day volunteering at @stgeorges_park nursing home. We sang, danced and chatted with residents also helping serve food and drinks for their Silver Sunday Tea party! Was lovely to meet some of the residents.

Scouts across the UK join the nation in mourning the loss of our beloved monarch and Patron, HM The Queen.

Her outstanding example of service, encouragement and kindness was an inspiration to us all.

Following the sad news last week, that our Group Scout Leader Caroline had sadly passed away. Our committee chair has started a fund raiser to help support Carolines family.

From being a skilled Archery instructor, an ex member of @stjohnambulance to her time doing Judo. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
Please can we ask people to share the fund raising page where possible and only donate if you can.
