@NotAPornDev@Jubihehe@MKStaccato@Pierre54v You sound angry there Chuck. Calm down. We don't want the slur cops to show up to your house. They might end up checking your entire digital library or something 😂
@NotAPornDev@Jubihehe@MKStaccato@Pierre54v Whatever helps you cope Chuck. Just cling to that blanket tighter so you're safe from the local policeman that's assigned to check the validity of your games.
@NotAPornDev@Jubihehe@MKStaccato@Pierre54v Oh no generic local cop will show up to my house to enforce Section 17.2 and Section 11 of GoG's ToS.
Lay off those goofy Suits episodes man. We live in the real world 😂
@NotAPornDev@Jubihehe@MKStaccato@Pierre54v You're just proving me right. You can read, but you can't comprehend. Reading is a useless skill on you. Pulling out the gifs already like a true dumb ass.
Bless your soul brother.
@NotAPornDev@Jubihehe@MKStaccato@Pierre54v See, the thing is, the GoG thing isn't piracy. You literally bought the game & are allowed to save the installation file to your local hardware of choice. You can run it on an offline device at any time. How will anyone get to spy on that? Offline is offline man.
@NotAPornDev@MKStaccato@Pierre54v Yes and that's why I don't buy digital with Sony. If GoG stop allowing us to have the installation file or add any sort of DRM, I'll stop buying from them. But as long as I can keep my installation files, there's nothing to worry about.
@NotAPornDev@Jubihehe@MKStaccato@Pierre54v I know about their ToS. Literally had to research that after Denuvo started increasing on Steam. My take is that it's the best PC digital option at the moment. Unless something changes, there's no way they can actually act on their ToS. How does that even work?!
@NotAPornDev@MKStaccato@Pierre54v You're so obsessed with AAA that you forget many devs never get to release physical cause they simply can't. We should just let all of those shut down? Have 5 publishers for the rest of our days? I still buy physical, and digital as long as drm free. Anything beyond that... 🏴☠️
@NotAPornDev@Jubihehe@MKStaccato@Pierre54v If you have the installation file & you already burn it to a cd, there's no way you're losing it. Again, I'm not against physical media. But your view on GoG is so Orwellian. It's a decent option to support devs while still maintaining ownership. Ain't no cop coming at you tmrw.
@MKStaccato@NotAPornDev@Pierre54v He's being an obtuse dumb ass. Bro thinks he is doing breaking news when everyone knows that shit. But in reality, GoG has no way of enforcing anything after you download the installation file. He's playing "better than thou" as if we can't pirate. We just choose to support devs.
@NotAPornDev@MKStaccato@Pierre54v Are you captain obvious? Because we do understand what you're saying, and people are still speaking against that shit. It's just that GoG is the best legal option out there at the moment. If GoG tries to enforce that, people will simply go pirate mode.
@NotAPornDev@MKStaccato@Pierre54v And how can they verify any of this? Knock on our doors & sweep our houses? You guys are running on technicalities that don't mean anything to the average user. I think you already know that. But it's Twitter, so you guys have to remain obtuse I guess.
