Sony can’t catch a break! GOG posted a statement on X regarding the important of discs for video games, amidst Sony’s attempt at ending physical media🚀

“Download the offline installer of any of your games on GOG, save it to a disc, and it's yours forever. You don't need a storefront's permission to play what you bought.”

✅GOG is known for their DRM-free games which become yours once you buy them

✅They allow you to download offline installers for every game, and even copy it on a disc to keep it forever

And you can actually own your games with GOG as well as offline dl

@MR_FG123 @n0kamixiv @de3dsoul With the price of ram, ssd, gpu’s, cpu’s, motherboards, etc. all increasing as time goes by, I find it very unlikely, but one can only hope they at least have some type of version less then 1k like a slim or something. Sucks to see our gaming world turn into a monopoly like this.
