icl i celebrated too hard to let go of the belle label. i understand wanting to be inclusive, but the fact of the matter is, being black & a lesbian is a very specific experience. for the first time ever, i had a term that described me all while uplifting me.

i did hear the term is still“lesbian centered” which i think is still good but i personally still see it as lesbian exclusive and will be treating it as such since it jus struck a part of me that felt so alone, unlovable, invisible.
idk the answers, just sharing my thoughts

hi i dont use twitter much but im a black lesbian from the uk and not to be dramatic, belle is such a beautiful term that im crying over it. it's just made me feel so good abt myself like sumn healed lol. just want ppl to hear abt my black fem joy lol
