@WyndhamHotels showed up at our hotel 700 miles from home with our four children. The rooms we booked were not available.Front desk told us “too bad we don’t have it” and told us we could cancel without charge but had to call customer service. Customer service won’t refund.
@nckhui Our Garner Schools are in desperate need of remodels. @EastGarnerMMS and @TimberDriveES especially. Timber Drive is 22 years old and never had a renovation!
@MaryOglesby17@WCPSS Everyone knows sports doesn’t spread covid. It’s not like there are groups of people clumped together yelling and breathing in each other. 🙄
@MaryOglesby17 They said that with the Covid guidelines for bussing there is no way for them to meet those guidelines with the middle and high schoolers. Those busses are packed 3 per seat. Cathy Moore was adamant that wouldn’t be hiring more drivers to meet that need. Which is absurd.

@NC_Governor@WCPSS has given parents a deadline of 7/20 to apply for Virtual Academy and we have 0 guidance for what the plan is for opening schools. WCPSS’s Plan B is a huge hardship for two parent working households and does nothing to reduce exposure for students in daycare.
Today I was in a meeting and my youngest son ran in the room and said his brother was “stuck in the bathroom”. He then added “he can’t get the door to unlock.”
I went down stairs to find my 4 year old daughter had shoved a pair of scissors into the knob to try to unlock it. 1/2
Quarantine Day 17: One of the hairless bipeds that purchased me has developed a fascination with the stuffed predator animal she has named “bear”. She insists I retrieve it for her constantly. While this task does earn me treats, I find it exhausting.
@FedEx what’s going on? You used to be so reliable. This month my packages are delayed and having “delivery exceptions” with no attempt made to deliver them. One was on a truck in Durham for 6 days. Called and emailed and got zero followup. #badcustomerservice
