@jennyfootball26 It's ambiguous. Multiplication and Division are on the same level and evaluated from left to right in PEMDAS. 36 is correct. There is also PEJMDAS (J is multiplication by juxtaposition) 5(7-4) would be counted as one grouped term as opposed to 5*(7-4). So 4 could also be correct.
