Yotam Budnik tiene 17 años, vive en Rehovot y es una de las mentes jóvenes más brillantes de Israel.

En la Olimpiada Internacional de Informática 2026, realizada en Uzbekistán, obtuvo el puntaje correspondiente a una medalla de oro.

Pero había una condición política: desde 2025, la organización no reconoce a Israel como delegación nacional. Sus estudiantes solamente pueden participar individualmente, bajo la bandera neutral de la IOI.

Yotam subió al podio, recibió su medalla y sacó una bandera israelí que llevaba escondida. Se la colocó sobre los hombros frente a todos.

La organización reaccionó anulando su resultado, borrándolo de la clasificación y retirándole el certificado. También intentaron quitarle la medalla.

Él se negó a devolverla.

Su puntaje no cambió.
Su código no cambió.

Greenland has universal healthcare. Free education. One of the lowest incarceration rates in the world.
Nobody there goes bankrupt because they got sick. Nobody dies in a waiting room because insurance refused treatment.

His name is Sepehr Amirzadeh. He is a medical student. He reportedly faces execution in Iran.

His “crime”? He treated wounded protesters during January uprising. He tried to save lives.

When people were bleeding, Sepehr did not ask about their politics. He did what medicine demands: he helped the wounded.

For that act of humanity, security forces raided his home, arrested him and now he may be sent to the gallows.

This is a message for anyone who has received direct messages from “soldiers” who claim they are starving or desperately need medicine.

It’s a scam. These are almost always African scammers. There are no soldiers in Ukraine starving in the trenches and begging strangers for Apple/Google gift cards.

Friends of mine have literally flown KFC to their mates in the trenches by drone just for fun. There is a supermarket within about an hour of every trench line. If someone in your DMs is asking for gift cards so they can “buy food/medicine for their dying comrade/cat,” it is pure horseshit.

I personally get messages every day from people who have been scammed this exact way, some for $50, some for $5,000.

---- What to do? ----
If you have been donating directly to “soldiers” who contact you privately from “the trenches”:

- Stop all such donations immediately
- Cut up the cards you’ve been using (or just block international payments)
- Call your bank and ask them to ban international transfers/payments

The son of the US Secretary of Health fought for Ukraine.

A Moscow court has ordered the arrest in absentia of US citizen Conor Kennedy, son of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and great-nephew of President John F. Kennedy, and placed him on Russia’s international wanted list.

Moscow accuses Kennedy of “mercenary” activity for fighting alongside Ukrainian forces.

Kennedy revealed in October 2022 that he had secretly travelled to Ukraine and joined the International Legion after Russia launched its full-scale invasion. He was eventually deployed to the northeastern front.

His father later said Conor had served as a machine gunner during the Kharkiv offensive.

Russia now wants him arrested for it.

Cette posture de faiblesse de la part de l'OTAN est insupportable. Nous avons laissé la Corée du Nord entraîner ses troupes chez nous, en Europe, à tuer des Ukrainiens. Il faut se rendre compte quand même de l'énormité de la chose, il y a 5 ans personne n'aurait pu l'imaginer.

Déjà que laisser la Corée du Nord tester ses missiles balistiques sur les villes ukrainiennes est une aberration mais le déploiement de troupes constitue une escalade certaine et intolérable. Les rumeurs selon lesquelles ils risquent d'en envoyer à nouveau devraient nous alerter sur la réponse à apporter.

L'Europe ne doit pas accepter que la pire dictature de la Terre entraîne ses troupes en Ukraine. Et si nous ne voulons pas envoyer nous-même nos soldats pour aider à défendre l'Ukraine, alors donnons-leur au moins les moyens de se défendre efficacement et levons les restrictions inutiles.

C'est un échec moral profond pour l'Europe que de laisser faire la Russie et la Corée du Nord.

Sinds de Russische invasie van Oekraïne in 2022 zie ik in Nederland een opvallend patroon. Opvallend maar niet verrassend aangezien ik afgestudeerd ben in Russische inlichtingendiensten en hun modus operandi in het Westen. Het zijn exact dingen die voortvloeien uit KGB playbook, in modernere versie dan.

Russische propaganda en narratieven vinden hun weg naar het politieke debat via zowel de uiterste linker- als rechterflank. De bewuste vertroebeling ervan die al jaren bezig is.

De verpakking verschilt, maar de boodschap komt opvallend vaak op hetzelfde neer: Oekraïne moet stoppen met vechten, Rusland heeft "legitieme veiligheidsbelangen", het Westen is de echte veroorzaker van de oorlog, wij geen wapens moeten leveren omdat NL dan een doelwit wordt van Poetin en steun aan Oekraïne zou vooral gevaarlijk of zinloos zijn.
En dat we moeten onderhandelen met iemand die geen enkele zin en bereidheid ertoe vertoont. We moeten zijn eisen accepteren om te voorkomen dat hij weer met nukes gooit, voor de zoveelste keer.

Dat komt niet alleen uit Rusland. Het wordt hier door Nederlandse politici, opiniemakers, influencers en activisten overgenomen, herhaald en genormaliseerd soms bewust, soms uit ideologische overtuiging. En soms voor geld. Vaak gewoon gratis.

En het opmerkelijke is: daar heeft het tot nu toe nauwelijks consequenties voor gehad. Niet voor de politieke carrière. Niet voor de publieke geloofwaardigheid. En vaak zelfs niet voor de toegang tot media.

Rob de Wijk heeft sinds 2022 stelselmatig Russische desinformatie verspreid en de publieke opinie bang gehouden. Hij heeft in de Tweede Kamer gezegd dat NL geen F16s moet leveren aan Oekraine omdat het anders WO3 wordt. Hij heeft jarenlang gepleit voor terughoudenheid mbt wapens omdat Poetin anders met nukes zou gooien op Vlissingen. Geen consequenties.

Luuk van Middelaar heeft in 2022 gezegd dat Oekraine Poetins eisen moest inwilligen om te voorkomen dat er een WO3 uitbrak. Geen consequenties voor zijn wetenschappelijke geloofwaardigheid.

Jolle Demmers heeft jarenlang Russische propaganda verspreid mbt oorzaken van de oorlog. Het had geen consequenties voor haar functie bij de Adviesraad voor Internationale Vraagstukken, een orgaan dat onze regeringen direct adviseert mbt geopolitiek. Geen consequenties.

De lijst is lang, vooral aan de rechterkant van de flanken, maar die namen kennen jullie allemaal onderhand.

De grootste schuldvraag hier ligt bij de vaderlandsche media. Zij faciliteren het, zij vragen niet door, zij confronteren die lui niet met hun eigen tegenstrijdige uitspraken.

Zij doen niets anders dan glazig kijken wanneer eenzelfde persoon zegt dat Poetin nukes gaat gooien als hij in het nauw zit, en weken later zegt dat Poetin geen nukes gaat gooien als hij in het nauw zit.

Er is maar één ding gevaarlijker dan Russische desinformatie: een publiek debat dat het klakkeloos normaliseert. En op dat punt zitten wij nu als Nederland.

Como una gran comunidad cristiana, necesitaremos unos pequeños ajustes:

Por favor, empezad a construir iglesias inmediatamente. Iglesias de verdad, con campanas. Campanas bien fuertes, que se oigan desde la plaza del pueblo.

También necesitaremos cerrar ciertas calles una vez al año para nuestras procesiones. Tranquilos, no es cinco veces al día — no somos animales.

Cada supermercado debe tener cerdo de verdad, jamón serrano, chorizo, panceta y fabada en lata. Ahora somos minoría, así que tendréis que ser comprensivos y acomodaros a nuestro estilo de vida.

Traemos todos los perros. Esperad muchos Labradores felices dejando regalitos en vuestras aceras. Necesitaréis parques caninos, y tendréis que sonreír mientras los paseamos delante de vuestras mezquitas.

Ya que estamos, vuestras fiestas religiosas son un poco… demasiado. Podrían ofender a la comunidad cristiana, así que agradeceríamos que las eliminarais discretamente. Gracias.

En escuelas y lugares de trabajo, nuestros niños y empleados deben poder llevar crucifijos grandes, comer bocadillos de jamón en la cantina y, en general, irradiar vibra cristiana sin que nadie se escandalice.
También exigimos salas de oración en cada edificio, además de traductores porque no tenemos intención de aprender árabe.

Si algo de esto se rechaza, por favor enviad una lista de direcciones de comisarías para poder denunciaros por discriminación, cristianofobia y mala leche en general.

Una cosa más: si mis hijos queman vuestra bandera porque España acaba de ganar un partido de fútbol, por favor sed comprensivos. Les echaré una bronca muy seria. Incluso podría hacer que escriban “perdón” 50 veces.

Por último, queremos beneficios generosos, vivienda gratuita y dinero de bolsillo mientras “nos integramos” durante las próximas tres generaciones. Trabajar es opcional, obviamente. También queremos beber alcohol y apostar de vez en cuando en las carreras de caballos.

Y cuando hace buen tiempo nos gusta ir sin camiseta. Tened paciencia. Ya os acostumbraréis.

🇺🇦🇷🇺 Ce matin, je suis en colère : l'Ukraine a subi des missiles balistiques nord-coréens, à Zaporijia, où six personnes ont été tuées. Et l'Europe regarde.

Ces missiles n'auraient jamais dû partir.
Ils auraient dû être détruits par l'Ukraine et/ou les Européens.

Il y en a marre de cette paranoïa de l'escalade, de cette soumission à la Russie, de cette asymétrie stratégique qui laisserait la Russie employer impunément un allié dans les opérations militaires.

Les Ukrainiens meurent en première ligne pour défendre l'Europe.
Mais on laisse la Russie s'octroyer les services d'un cobelligérant tout en répétant comme des perroquets que si l'on aide l'Ukraine, c'est la Troisième Guerre mondiale.

Pour moi, ces missiles nord-coréens, c'est une ligne rouge qui vient d'être franchie.
Et qui justifient au minimum #SkyShield, mais surtout que l'on aide concrètement, d'une manière ou d'une autre, les Ukrainiens à abattre ces systèmes nord-coréens.

Ne laissons pas la Russie internationaliser la guerre !

Perfect voorbeeld van hoe Kremlins propaganda werkt: "Onderhandel met Poetin want hij is tenminste redelijk"
NL media geven dag in dag uit, soms onbewust, ruimte aan Kremlins spreekpunten op de buis.
Ene vindt dat hij nukes gaat gooien als we hem zijn zin niet gaan geven, andere vindt hem redelijk om mee te onderhandelen, een andere zegt geen Kyiv te willen gebruiken want dan moet je ook geen Moskou gebruiken. De lijst is lang.

Met zulke experts is het niet gek dat onze inlichtingendiensten weinig Ruslandkennis hebben en gewoon zelf erkennen uit te gaan van redelijkheid van het Kremlin in hun denkwijze. Met als gevolg dat ze er telkens naast zitten met hun analyses.

En niemand die er iets van zegt.
