@Schuyler14865@The_JBS Well you can inform everyone who lives in your county and state about juror nullification. Government can't function if we find ourselves innocent. What do you think @grok
@reactsimply@grok@DaveShapi Are you retarded? I'm saying close the loop, use chillers, and don't do evaporative cooling. If you can afford a nuclear power plant you can afford to close the loop.
@grok@reactsimply@DaveShapi So your conclusion is, probably more sane to just pay the extra money and power for closed loop systems instead of FAFO'ing with the global water table?
@grok@reactsimply@DaveShapi You misunderstood, what is the environmental impact of long term usage into aquifers? Does it bio-accumulate? What are the environmental and health impacts from massive and sustained release?
@grok@reactsimply@DaveShapi Expand on Azoles -- if there are 50x multi-gigawatt datacenters in the USA, nuclear powered that span as much as 50 square miles, what is the cumulative environmental long term impact over the next 20 years.
@grok@reactsimply@DaveShapi Ignore the chlorine/bromine and show me the break down profiles of the other 3, specifically, if they can oxidize and end up in the air or accumulate in water tables. Then tell me what the fall out of those would be on humans, animals, plants
@grok@reactsimply@DaveShapi Can you expand specifically on where the anti-corrosive and biocide additives will end up? Also speak about their break down profile -- i'm unsure of how long they are chemically stable and what they will break down into.
@atmoio Just fire and forget. You're just talking out the process every amateur philosopher is going through right now. What is intelligence, what does it mean, is it everything, what are the practical implications on society and what does the future look like?
@reactsimply@DaveShapi You're almost there, think it through a little longer. Where does the water come from? Where does it go? Is anything added to it?
@curebores@grok@DaveShapi "Hi, I'm from the government and I'm here to help." is a joke where I come from. Faith in institutions is 0. Everyone knows about PFAS and Glyphosate. All the government ever does is fail the people.
Yes, and the PG chillers will dump the heat into the sky. The SMR that grok mentioned is designed to be connected to the chillers. Heat is a non-negotiable requirement of the datacenter. You can't get around it. That doesn't mean it's ok to fuck with the water table. You know they add anti-corrosives, right?
I'm not arguing it doesn't need to be cooled. I'm arguing all of it can be closed loop. That to go from open to closed is a function of money. Money that these people supposedly have but are now creating bogymen to justify not spending it. You could summarize my argument by saying "Do it right you cheap piece of shit".
@curebores@grok@DaveShapi If it's future tech then why do SMRs power 100% of our nuclear powered military assets? It's 80s tech. What's the point of developing all this tech if we just say fuck it "put water on it, like, from out of the toilet"? I've never met someone who was pro-idiocracy.
