2sms UK platform is now fully restored to production. We will be writing up a RCA for enhanced SLA clients. We will also follow up with our cloud provider to understand the reasons behind the failure of their failover services.
Our platform runs on a geo-resilient Azure storage system which has failed to failover. This prevented us bringing up our contingency platform. Azure have reported that affected services are coming back online, and we are actively monitoring the situation.
We continue to work to restore UK platform service. Our geo-resilient contingency platform is being loaded into service. We do not currently have an ETA for service resumption.
Our UK connectivity issues have been traced to upstream VM and storage problems on Microsoft Azure UK South. We are in BCP to bring in our contingency platform. US customers remain unaffected.
2sms is currently experiencing issues with its UK platform and there is service disruption to customers. We are investigating the issue. We apologise for the inconvenience of this event. We will post updates shortly.

2sms today launch a new platform for their USA customers. This has been communicated to customers in advance. Deployment will take place at 7am EST / 6am CST / 4am PST. All data and services have been ported from the old platform.
2sms gives 7 days notice of a change to its T's & C's at https://t.co/UCb2WOPTwr. Specifically we have updated our Data Processing Agreement at https://t.co/jatp7emjr5 to cover sub-processors under GDPR. Use of 2sms services is conditional on acceptance of their use.
US customers trying to use https://t.co/XVrSttuAbc will not gain access. As per an advisory email sent to you, your account has moved to https://t.co/tawqg97Lb7
All message history, address book information and access credentials have been ported over to the new platform.
With the launch of our new portals, we now only support TLS 1.2. Support for 1.0 and 1.1 has been removed for security reasons.
If you are using old 2sms add-ins, please contact [email protected] for help in getting them to work with TLS 1.2
