@B_doong2daddy I mean hey it’s not my kinda paint job but it’s a choice that someone liked I guess and the Cybertruck does have a lot of “empty canvas” to work with 😂
I see the Cybertruck hate still lingers in some parts.
Spoke to a co worker today and he said to me “I heard you have a cybertruck, ya don’t take offense I don’t hate them or anything but I might flip you off when I see you. My wife started doing it because she hates them so I just started doing it without thinking about it.”
I find this conversation funny because everyone who hates it then gets in it and says they now love it afterwards 😂
The feature to ask Grok to change a route to go a specific way kinda already works. I have a second security gate I have to go through for work only around holidays when the normal gates are closed. I told Grok the other day roughly where the gate is and she said she’d add it as a “stop” to make sure FSD goes that way instead of the normal route.
@kauai_renatus@elonmusk@Tesla@cybertruck Ah yes the dreaded low-voltage battery going dead…ya there are not many things that scare me but that one puts a little bit of fear into me every time I see it anywhere.
@Dexerto Ya I work as an industrial mechanic where my phone is exposed to 300 degree heat, corners and moving parts everywhere, and enough dust to choke a dust collector some days…I’ll continue to put a screen protector and case on it just in case.
I have Residential Max at my house and it’s the best option I get and the kicker is I live in a city with fiber. AT&T told me they could give me 1 Gbps with fiber but it will cost more than Starlink and they’ll cap me each month. I’d rather pay the Max price with unlimited data for less than fiber with Starlink.
@ggabrielmmm I always look over at my wife in the passenger seat and say “heyyyyy another Cybertruck!” and then I either flash my lights or wave if I have the window down 😂
@mikepat711 They should allow users to pick any AI they desire honestly. I’ve always went back and forth between Claude and Grok but I use Grok a lot more nowadays.
@CKEVS1998 Air suspension in the cybertruck is so smooth but everytime I see someone post an air suspension alert because it needs serviced I get reminded of how nice regular suspension might be in the long run.
@B_doong2daddy When I got mine, it was the first experience I had ever had with a Cybertruck. The ride felt great and FSD impressed me more than any other Tesla I had ever rode in.
I instantly fell in love with everything about it and eventually I had to admit I liked the design a lot too.
Level 2 home charging costs me $25 extra on the electric bill each month
Level 2 takes roughly 2-3 hours to charge depending on the level and depending on if it’s my Model 3 or Cybertruck
Level 3 charging costs us no more than $16 most of the time
Level 3 takes 30-45 minutes regardless of what level we’re at most of the time
Practicality. Me and my wife had a big lifted new Chevy Silverado I originally bought for the hauling capability and the push to own a truck but after 5 years of owning it we never hauled a single thing and paying a big premium price on something I’ll never use was my wake up call.
After trading in that truck for a Model 3 we realized just how simple our lives really are and how much driving we actually don’t do at all. After that I fell in love with FSD and decided to also buy a Cybertruck as well.
@tigerblood_ss@dkmitc I think the Cybertruck does handle it more efficiently. My wife has a 23 Model 3 and it’ll lose roughly 10% in 12 or so hours while she’s at work with all of the same settings turned on as my Cybertruck.
@Konflikt99@dkmitc With the weather being around 98-100 where I live I’ve been arriving at work with 60% battery and leaving my work 14 hours later at 54-56% depending on if I take a break in the truck with sentry and cabin cool all on the entire time.
@nikkharris My FSD would probably be in the high 90% if it parked where I’d like it to park at my work but everytime I pull through the security gate I’ve gotta disengage so I can park it where I normally park.
@B_doong2daddy For me it was Grok and X money. I use Grok and now Grok Bot daily for easier work flow so I figured I oughta just get Premium+ and have everything I need.
