There will come a point where hundreds, if not thousands of versions of the same digital item exist across different platforms, each competing for your attention.
One will have better utility. Another will have stronger gameplay. Another will have superior design. Another will stand out for animation. One will be extremely rare. And over time, all of these qualities will continue to improve and evolve.
The only attribute that remains permanent, and cannot be changed retroactively, is first appearance.
Welcome to the golden era of digital collecting.
@Ande189@eno_2323@Ste_Kelk because VeVe is the Sponsor of the famous Bounty and allocate the mints to specific potential longterm holders, so they dont need to spend the funds.
Digital collectibles are still deep in the innovation and early adoption phase. The hardest part of being early is that the majority will think you’re an idiot, right up until their ignorance turns into buying the top and becoming exactly what they are: laggards.
A laggard, by definition, is someone who falls behind because they’re perpetually late, resistant to change, and incapable of recognizing opportunity until it’s already passed them by. These are the same people who show up after the gains are made, then blame the world for their own lack of vision and openness.
Have pity for the laggards, for they know not what they do.
If your life is going in the wrong direction, your thinking is not truth —> it’s conditioning.
Most people don’t lack knowledge.
They’re trapped in what Dr Steiner describes as astral habits;
fixed patterns of sympathy, antipathy, desire, and reaction that operate automatically.
These patterns don’t think.
They react.
And then you call those reactions “my opinion,” “my personality,” “my truth.”
That’s the illusion.
Before higher knowledge is possible, the student must begin observing how much of their inner life is mechanical.
This is why your life repeats.
Because the same inner configuration meets the same outer situations and produces the same results.
Different goals.
Same inner structure.
Same outcome.
You don’t fail because you don’t know what to do.
You fail because something in you acts before you can choose: A reaction. An emotion. A judgment.
And in that moment, your so-called “knowledge” has no power.
This is why Steiner insists:
Real development does not begin with learning new ideas,
but with transforming thinking, feeling, and willing at their root.
That means:
– Thinking must become conscious, directed, independent of impulse
– Feeling must be purified from blind sympathy and antipathy
– Will must become obedient to intention, not to habit
In his esoteric lessons (GA 266), Steiner speaks about “killing the snake of habit.”
Not suppressing it.
Not fighting it emotionally.
But seeing it so clearly that it loses its power over you.
This is the beginning of real unlearning.
Later, he describes the encounter with the Guardian of the Threshold:
A moment where the student is confronted with the full image of what they have made of themselves:
their weaknesses
their repeated failures
their untransformed patterns
What you see there is not random.
It is structured.
It is the exact form your astral habits have taken over time.
And most people spend their entire lives avoiding that confrontation.
Because it destroys the illusion that:
“I just need more knowledge.”
No, you need less unconsciousness.
You need to stop identifying with what is merely repeating inside you.
True thinking is not what you believe;
it is what you can live consistently through your will.
If your actions contradict your ideals,
your thinking is still bound to the astral body.
You don’t destroy yourself.
You withdraw identification from what is not truly you.
To choose instead of repeat.
To act from intention instead of impulse.
And slowly, something shifts:
The old patterns lose authority.
The automatic reactions weaken.
The inner space between stimulus and response grows.
This is what Steiner calls the awakening of the consciousness-soul.
The moment you stop obeying unconscious patterns and begin acting from conscious will, your real path finally begins.
