A yellow-orange haze is filling the air near 334 S Cypress St as firefighters and HazMat crews respond to a reported nitric and phosphoric acid incident.

Firefighters are evacuating nearby businesses and residents within a one-mile radius as reports indicate potentially toxic fumes.

One person has minor injuries, with three patients now being evaluated for varying levels of distress. Crews are working to locate a leaking tank and control the incident.

Avoid the area and do not approach or breathe in the haze.
