Kobe Black played more than 30 snaps just once this season, back in W2 against SJSU.

With Kade Phillips injured, Texas called on him to play 33 last night in the biggest home game of the year.

Black notched an 82 PFF grade, had three tackles and gave up just four yards on 2 targets.
