@BelowNatural No shot this reaches you but in the off chance it does, going forward, please consider investing more heavily in representing longtime players of TDS, a lot of us would really like perhaps a system that showcases how long you’ve been playing or something!
@angelgod32@Fallout "Bethesda cares about their community!"
Meanwhile Fallout 4 has gotten 3 major updates in about a year and a half that add almost nothing to the PC experience and break the mods said community made 😭
@BDeelena@Fallout I don't even hate the references- Fallout 4 (base game) was relatively tame. My problem just comes from the seemingly 10x'd attention 76 has gotten which will almost certainly influence future projects (e la Fallout 5)
@Ginnellyo@Fallout All "creations" are licensed under Bethesda, and Bethesda is promoting it. If a future update were to add it like Next Gen did Enclave content, it would be further canonized in what is already one of the most overblown and obnoxious parts of the "lore" that barely exists anymore
@tenebrisvariety@notsve_ Obsidian and Bethesda both imply it is a mix of FEV and radiation, Black Isle was more on the radiation side but still tinkered with FEV in Fallout 2
@tenebrisvariety@notsve_ FEV was partially aerosolized via the blasts that destroyed Mariposa originally. While it of course is not consistently prevalent it is predominantly the source of FEV
But ALSO, this is contested lore in-canon. FEV was a plot device before being HEAVILY expanded in later games
