๐จ FIFA have handed Folarin Balogun a suspended one-match ban, making him available for the USA's World Cup clash with Belgium. ๐บ๐ธ
US Soccer did not appeal the decision after being informed there were no grounds to do so, but FIFA have instead exercised their powers under Article 27. The red card remains on Balogun's record, but the suspension has been deferred.
Cristiano Ronaldo received the same treatment before the tournament, allowing him to feature in Portugal's opening World Cup matches.
