Teams around the league want the Grizzlies to attach draft picks to Ja Morant in order to take on his contract, per @KendrickPerkins
“Teams were asking Memphis to attach picks in order to take Ja Morant, not the other way around. They were asking Memphis, ‘Hey man, attach picks with Ja and we'll take him.’”

Can only put Spurs and OKC over this 5 objectively. Health and Meshing continuity will be the variables. it’s ceiling is even better than the Thunder if they do not make any big moves this summer.
These are 48 minute games and from a technical side of his abilities, his next step is not coming without another ball dominant guy. too often is the weight of the world on his shoulders and this seems to be the only way the TWolves can remedy that before he goes and plays with jj in ATL.
@BanteredB_ imagine drafting guys like Edey and Mara to compete with wemby more just for the spurs to grab anchor centers and now force you to put a PF on wemby
Grayson Allen (Free Agent)
Jrue Holliday (Buyout Free Agent?)
Collin Sexton (Free Agent)
Coby White (Free Agent)
Zach Lavine (Buyout Free Agent?)
adding one of these guys should be a priority for Miami now that they have gone all in.
fascinated by how bam and giannis will mesh. obvious strengths there.
gives coach spo the ability to throw any combination of 3 guards out there with the two and not assume hardly any risks in terms of defense/rebounding
They still need one last piece to really move the needle. Heat have built an ecosystem that will make any guard thrive. Doesn’t need to be a DeAaron Fox. Davion and Norman are good nonetheless.

The Heat are sending to Milwaukee unprotected first-rounders in 2031 and 2033 along with No. 13, a pick swap in 2030 and a 2033 second-rounder, according to sources.
The trade does not include any additional teams -- it is a one-to-one move, sources said -- but both the Heat and Bucks will execute the deal on July 6, which leaves the framework open to see if there are opportunities to expand.
Surely pope didn’t go from not being able to land a top 10 recruit to grabbing two top 10 2027 guys and reclassing one which happens to be the best prospect of the class.
