Thought I handled my moms first #deathAnniversary last year pretty well, but then I remembered I jumped out of a moving car and hid in a field. Guess there truly is no wrong way to grieve!! #The30YearOldOrphan#griefsupport
What pisses me off about grief are those phrases like *Time heals all* thanks for the platitude my guy but what the fuck do I do with all this pain I have now?! I want tangible fucking solutions FOR RIGHT NOW So here's one.. when you're all out sobbing, when your face is a faucet
feel happy or less lonely, but you'll feel in control. You'll have done something. You'll be out of your head and you'll feel the smoothness of your pen on paper & that's better than anything else you're feeling at that moment. #The30YearOldOrphan#Grief#Loss#Griefsupport
@Lisa28061925 You’re not going crazy. You’re grieving. The emotions are so big and volatile it can feel like you’re going crazy. But you’re not. You’re not alone. There’s nothing I can say to alleviate your pain. It’s horrible. But you’re not alone. ♥️
It cuts my insides up to think of how one day I’ll have a baby & my Mom & Dad will never meet them. They won’t get to be doting grandparents. I won’t just be able to ask them how do I do this?! How do I raise a child?! It just rocks me to my core. #The30YearOldOrphan
Do you ever wake up and pull a Steve Erwin like *CRIKEY! What is this strange unfamiliar feeling? Oh wooo… is this… happiness? Such a rarity in these parts but she’s a beaut! Don’t think about it too much. Don’t scare it. She’s a fickle creecha* #The30YearOldOrphan#Grief
My #Mom left me a voicemail where she apologized for not calling me back when she knew I was upset about work bc she was feeling sick. It guts me. That’s only something your mom would do. Apologize for taking care of her life threatening disease instead of listening to me cry
Some of my dad’s favorite things at his service and celebration of life, his family, his golf clubs (@onebite headcover), Cleveland sports, and his favorite fast food treat: apple pies from @Whataburger.
about work, which doesn’t even truly matter. She was literally apologizing for being sick, something she can’t help, instead of listening to me whine. That’s such a mom move to apologize like that. There’s no love like your moms #The30YearOldOrphan#Loss#MissyouMom
Sometimes I can’t even comprehend what’s happening to me. To be fair I’ve had 3 drinks but I can’t comprehend that my back hurts and I used the same lidocaine my mom used almost two years ago? But she’s dead? But the icy hot still hasn’t expired? #The30YearOldOrphan
