We have to realise it won't change in one day, it's a process. But till the time the attitude of the government and corporates change, we have to support our heroes by all means. @viditchess you are a hero! @ReheSamay great job for initiating the conversation. #ArjunaForChess
A Befitting Reply to Terrorists: My Journey from the 2006 Mumbai Train Blasts to Becoming a Chartered Accountant
On July 11, 2006, the city of Mumbai was shaken to its core by a series of seven coordinated bomb blasts that ripped through its lifeline—the suburban train network. The explosions claimed over 200 lives, injured more than 800, and left countless others with permanent disabilities. I was one of the survivors, but my life changed forever that day. The attack left me with a spinal cord injury that paralyzed me from the waist down, confining me to a wheelchair. Yet, this is not a story of despair. It is a story of resilience, determination, and an unwavering spirit that refused to be broken by the cowardly acts of terrorism. This is my journey—a tight slap to every terrorist who believes they can extinguish the human spirit.
The Day That Changed Everything
I was a young, ambitious student pursuing my dream of becoming a Chartered Accountant (CA) when the blasts occurred. Like millions of Mumbaikars, I was on a crowded train, heading home after a long day. The deafening explosion, the chaos, the screams—it all felt surreal, like a nightmare I couldn’t wake up from. When I regained consciousness, I was in a hospital, surrounded by doctors and nurses. The news was devastating: the spinal cord injury I sustained would leave me paralyzed for life. My world crumbled. The dreams I had nurtured, the plans I had made, all seemed to slip away in that moment.
In the weeks and months that followed, I witnessed the ripple effects of the terror attack. Families were shattered, breadwinners were lost, and survivors like me grappled with life-altering injuries. I saw people struggling to rebuild their lives, some permanently disabled, others haunted by the trauma. The pain was not just physical—it was emotional, psychological, and deeply personal. For me, the loss of mobility was a constant reminder of the brutality of that day. But even in those dark moments, a spark within me refused to die. I decided that the terrorists would not have the last word.
The Fight to Reclaim My Life
The road to recovery was anything but easy. The physical pain was excruciating, and the emotional toll was immense. Simple tasks became monumental challenges. I had to relearn how to navigate the world in a wheelchair, adapt to my new reality, and confront the societal stigma that often accompanies disability. There were days when despair threatened to overwhelm me, when the weight of my circumstances felt unbearable. But every time I thought of giving up, I reminded myself of the dreams I had before the attack. Becoming a Chartered Accountant was not just a career goal—it was a symbol of my ambition, my drive, and my refusal to let circumstances define me.
With the unwavering support of my family and friends, I began to rebuild my life. I resumed my CA studies, despite the immense challenges. The rigorous curriculum, long hours of study, and the need to stay focused were daunting, especially while managing my physical limitations. There were moments of self-doubt, moments when I questioned whether I could achieve what I had set out to do. But I pressed on, fueled by a burning desire to prove—not just to myself, but to the world—that the human spirit is stronger than any act of terror.
A Triumph of Spirit
Years of hard work, perseverance, and sheer determination paid off when I cleared my CA exams. The moment I received the news, I was overwhelmed with emotion. It wasn’t just about becoming a Chartered Accountant; it was about reclaiming my life, defying the odds, and sending a powerful message to those who sought to destroy me. Sitting in my wheelchair, I realized that I had achieved what many thought was impossible. The terrorists had taken away my ability to walk, but they could not take away my will to succeed.
@the_dream_saver Man this is so tough, i always think if i delete those texts and pictures, what will I have for that 2-3 years period. It more feels like,I will be erasing that time of my life. This exactly feeling, never let's me press that delete button.

#SupremeCourt hears the case of the son of a dalit daily wager who cracked IIT Dhanbad but could not get admitted since he missed fees payment deadline
CJI: we cannot allow such a young talent boy to go away. He went to jharkhand legal services authority. then he is to chennai legal services and then he is sent to high court. he is a dalit boy being made to run from pillar to post.
Authority: It was not the login at last minute. in mock interview he was told to pay. NIC sent him a SMS and IIT sent him two whatsapp chats to finish payment..
CJI: he is the son of a daily wager.. there is something called.. we know technology is good.
Adv for petitioner: daily wage is 450 rupees. task of arranging 17,500 is a big deal. he collected the money from villagers
CJI: in article 142.. there are some cases we keep the law a little aside

@mrsinha Why don't you disclose ur income for each tweet first
How do people have so much hypocrisy & consider themselves holy. Bloody none of you involved in this system is paying ur taxes rightfully, wholly dependent on black money & still speak like harishchandra #ElectoralBondsCase
@mrsinha Why black money, the corporates don't need to give a single penny, all this leads to a quid pro quo arrangement.
If they are giving to anyone, then let it be in public.
Mr. Sinha seems to be thinking in a very skewed and andh bhakt manner!!
