Recent @UMBC_MBB commit @marlon_short4 is our pick for America East Newcomer of the Year and a dark horse for DPOY! The big, athletic guard is great in transition, excels in the mid range, and uses length and bounce to cover ground defensively and shut down opposing players.
Quick-hitter from Coach Dusty May and staff at FAU from this last tournament run. Keys:
- Shooters spaced deep in corners🎯
- SPRINT to ghost👻
- DEEP seal in front of rim to open up lane for scorer to get downhill💪
Recent @UVMmbb transfer guard TJ Long might be the most underrated scorer in the country. The MAAC 6MOTY has one of the quickest releases we’ve ever seen, unlimited range, physical on drives, and is extremely active in passing lanes. Will be a HUGE contributor for the Catamounts!
GLIAC POTY and recent @MastodonMBB transfer, @Sheed_bello21 was dominant this past year at Wisconsin-Parkside. Averaging 17.9p, 4.5a, 5.1r, 2.5s, 0.5b on 46/43/76 splits, Bello led the Rangers to a 20-9 record including an NCAA tournament bid. Bello is a special talent!
The nation’s leading scorer, EJ Day of @LasellU_MBB , was absolutely electric this past season for the lasers! Quick, shifty, and absolutely fearless. Excited to see what’s next for the GNAC legend!
@LMB_alex6 of @LFC_MBB was a nightmare to guard this past season in the MWC. The 6’1 guard constantly has the opposition on their heels with his ability to get downhill and finish either at the rim or with floaters off either foot or hand. 16p, 3a, 4.6r, 51/38/69 splits.
Aireus Rasberry of JWU (RI) is a physical lefty guard who poured in 19.7 ppg this past season. He finds openings in the lane by landing on two and using step throughs, and has great touch on floaters. All-GNAC First Team performer this year. @trulytalented_0
Eric Fleming is an UBER athletic forward who can stretch the floor and shows flashes attacking off the dribble. He has a high motor & has gotten better each year in his career. The pogo stick of a forward is a SLEEPER & that term is not used lightly. @edotboogie609
@noahfernandes_ of @UMassMBB is one of the steadiest point guards in the portal right now! He controls the pace of the game, and excels in creating his own shot through back-pivots and bumps. Fernandes is going to help a high major program next season.
Jake Hilmer of Upper Iowa is elite at getting to his spots. The quick guard averaged 22ppg and shot near 50% out the mid range. Not many in the country can get to their spots as efficiently & quickly as Jake. The NSIC POY put his full talent on display being a mismatch nightmare
Idan Tretout played a crucial role for Harvard this season. At 6’4,
he is a crafty finisher with a quick and compact release on his jumpers. He also uses his strength and handle to create his own shot at a high rate. Tretout can help a number of programs next year! @IdanTretout
@jeff_hunter11 is one of the most productive bigs in ALL of college basketball! The 6’7 forward has a unique combo of athleticism & feel for the game, and was recently named a 1st Team All-American. He averaged 18.6p, 13.6r, 2.7a, 2.8b, & 1.5s on 61% shooting.
Kot is easily a division one talent, he averaged 24.3p on 52% and 40% 3P% and was ELITE at drawing fouls. One of the most underrated players in the country, having just entered the portal some big time programs should be reaching out soon! @akhoops22
Akuel Kot of Fort Lewis College is a walking bucket. The 6’2 guard is a TOUGH shot maker, who uses his strength and handle to create space and elevate over defenders. Kot was named 1st Team All American this year, and is currently 5th all time in points at FLC. 👇
Isaiah Moore from South Alabama is a lightning quick PG. His quickness, strength and vision was on full display all season. The strong guard gets paint touches at will through shifty drives or post ups creating scoring and passing opportunities. He can GO. 19ppg on 53%fg, 4.6 apg
