On the 8th of May 1945, VE Day was celebrated. 75 years later we remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for that victory; whilst celebrating the end of 6 years of war in Europe. Raise a toast today to those who gave so much!

Today saw Kent Wing Band at our squadron, with several of our own Cadets joining in the practice. The skills learnt will be taken forward to wing, whilst helping and developing other cadets at the squadron with our own band.

Over this last weekend, we visited the beautiful city of Krakow, Poland. During our stay we visited the Wielska Salt Mines; and then the somber scenes of the Concentration Camps at Auschwitz. An amazing and educational trip for all! #poland#krakow#oswiecim#neveragainholocaust

Tonight we were at the Westgate Hall in Canterbury supporting or local branch of the Royal British Legion at their Poppy Ball. We served three courses to over 80 people and helped with clearing tables and assisting at the tombola! #royalbritishlegion#noordinaryhobby
Our second parade of the day was in remembrance of Pilot Officer Roy Marchand of who was killed in action over Nouds Farm on the 15th September 1940. The annual event is attended by local dignitaries and family members; from both the UK and Switzerland #battleofbritain#hurricane
