Happy 61st Birthday to Reggie Miller.

Miller starred at UCLA, earning Third-Team All-American honors in 1986 before helping the Bruins win the Pac-10 regular-season and tournament championships in 1987.

The Pacers selected him with the 11th overall pick in the 1987 NBA Draft, and he went on to spend all 18 seasons of his career in Indiana.

He became a five-time All-Star and three-time All-NBA selection, scored 25,279 career points and famously scored eight points in 8.9 seconds against the Knicks at Madison Square Garden in 1995. He led Indiana to its first NBA Finals appearance in 2000 and retired in 2005 as the NBA’s all-time leader with 2,560 three-pointers. Miller also won Olympic gold with Team USA in 1996.

After retiring, the Pacers retired his No. 31 in 2006, he was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in 2012, UCLA retired his No. 31 in 2013 and he was named to the NBA 75th Anniversary Team. He also built a 20-year broadcasting career with TNT before joining NBC Sports as a lead NBA analyst.
