@agrEQculture@AmericanAir I believe it! I never flew them before this summer (but have to because my SO lives down here) but it’s been an AWFUL experience. Almost got robbed in the hotel they put us in.
@AmericanAir is the WORST airline I’ve ever had to deal with. 8/8 flights I’ve taken this year - ALL have been delayed. I ended up getting in at 2am on Thursday after a 6 hour delay - and now I’m back on another 3 hour delay putting me in past midnight someone needs to fix this.
I’m not someone to complain on twitter but this is just ridiculous at this point - like how does a plane never leave on time. CLT has had 50+ people in their customer service lines constantly with people screaming their heads off at the reps.
last trip with them they put us passengers in a roach motel in Philadelphia after they ran the luggage cart into the wing of the plane grounding us all night. Needles and syringes on the floors, blood stains on the floors, no lampshades. As a single 23yo female it was so fun!
@xrailskilledme Agreed. It’s just not even what the roots of dressage are meant for. I love the local schooling stuff, but I’m not willing to shell out a grand or more anymore to go to a recognized show if the judging isn’t even rewarding the correct and ethical training
Seeing how awful the judging has gotten for dressage and people having correct tests at regionals being out of the ribbons + the fancy expensive horses winning does not inspire me to spend my hard earned money on showing again ✌🏻
@HorsesAreBetter I played my nintendo switch a ton after my back surgery and got fun cozy games! Animal crossing, stardew valley and cozy grove are great. It helped pass the time between sleeping
Idk if I just don’t have the same fire to be competitive anymore or I hate how expensive it is. But nothing about seeing the direction the sport is going inspires me to compete anymore. It’s just all who ever has the most money to spend on horse + training wins
I love dressage, but idk the last 2 years I have 0 desire to spend the money to show anymore. I’m having much more fun taking lessons and working on stuff at home then paying a grand out of pocket to have to compete against 60k horses
@bridlesnbits Hopefully the MRI can tell you something! I’m not sure which type of scan finally found his (I think it was an MRI) but just wanted to share as something to be cautious of!
@bridlesnbits I’m not sure what your other symptoms are but my fiancés cousin was having vision problems and ended up having a tumor on his optic nerve in his brain
