“…our first catechists are our parents: those who first spoke to us and taught us to speak. Just as we learned our mother tongue, so too the proclamation of the faith cannot be delegated to someone else; it happens where we live, above of all in our homes, around the family table. When there is a voice, a gesture, a face that leads to Christ, the family experiences the beauty of the Gospel.” -Pope Leo

"Unfortunately, we live in an age that doesn't believe that some things are true and some things are always wrong. It doesn't believe in objective realities, and it certainly doesn't believe in the existence of evil."
Our age is wrong.

Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And You shall renew the face of the earth. O, God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His consolations, Through Christ Our Lord, Amen.
Sometimes changing the world means getting quiet enough for God to change me.
Lord, help me choose to make time with You a priority. Each and every day. I want Your Word and Your love to work wonders in my soul.
In the #GospelOfTheDay (Jn 2:1-11), we notice two things: lack and superabundance. In the banquet of life, we sometimes realize that the wine is running out. This happens when the destructive forces of evil take away the joy of life.
Jesus,
Protect us in these days to come.
Protect our nation and heal it.
Protect our families and heal them.
Protect our hearts and heal us.
Bring us closer to you.
Amen.
Jesus said clearly: “Just as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me” (Mt 25:40). Jesus asks you to discover Him in the members of society who are poor, despised, and abandoned. What a beautiful encounter that can be! #DilexitNos
Brothers and sisters, war is an illusion. It is a defeat, and it will never bring peace or security. War is a defeat for everyone, especially those who believe themselves to be invincible. Stop, please!
Though the world frequently tries to convince us that we are valued only for what we can produce, the #Gospel reminds us of the truth of life: we are loved by God.
Let us not be afraid to make ourselves small before God and each other. May we give our lives, spend our time, and make sacrifices to help our brothers and sisters live better and be happy! #ApostolicJourney
