@tak_01_ although I wouldn’t put Blg anywhere near hle/t1 in strength based off last split/playoffs performance I do think they have dark horse potential to potentially upset one in a single bo5 with extremely (extremely) good prep. Xun and bin especially need curveballs prepared
Believe it or not, I think the main problem geng has is that the gap is much closer now between kiin/ruler and other top/ads, and kiin being awkward on carry counterpick tops is what’s really hurting them in this meta.
@tak_01_ g5 draft a warcrime not only in of itself but also because kc players had no idea how to play it imo, if they do nid top w start solo invade/ward/trap topside and rest of kc get vision for aatrox to invade raptors yike can just chase skew around and put him giga far behind
kiin on these slightly losing lane stronger in teamfights/later on picks (usually sion ksante but this game yorick) is absolutely insane, chovy definitely ran the map but was largely enabled by kiins early gank outplay
this has been one of the best years of lec viewing exp since 2019 so far:
- very competitive top 3 (g2 kc koi) and interesting up and coming (vit navi)
- bottom teams at least have comedic value (sk shifters, only heretics is completely bombed out)
- roadshows + crowds insane
@tak_01_ Regardless of if it’s Dns or ns it feels like a downgrade for both teams, outside of maybe Keria kellin is the best pairing for diables current playstyle
