इन पर विश्वास नहीं करना चाहिए। हमारा उद्देश्य किसी को हराना नहीं है। हम भी चाहते हैं कि योगी जीतें। आरक्षण या यूजीसी का योगी जी से कोई लेना-देना नहीं है। और भाजपा ही सत्ता में है, तो नीतियाँ वही बदलेगी।

पर हाँ, भाजपा और मोदी जी ने आरक्षण में जो-जो प्रावधान किए हैं, वह देशी की बर्बादी की पटकथा है। हम बस पक चुके हैं और हम अपनी बात कहना चाहते हैं। इसका विरोध हम करेंगे और पूरे बल से करेंगे।

मैंने तो फरवरी से सुधारों की पूरी सूची सार्वजनिक रूप से रखी है। केन्द्र द्वारा अनौपचारिक रूप से भेजे गए प्रतिनिधि से भी मैंने बात कर अपनी माँगें रखी। पाँच दिन बीत चुके हैं। हमारी कोई भी माँग ऐसी नहीं है कि किसी भी को समस्या हो सके।

व्हाइट पेपर हो, EWS की बात हो, रैशनलाइजेशन हेतु महादलित जातियों के आरक्षण की बात हो… ऐसा क्या है जो मानने योग्य नहीं है? आप यह कहिए कि आपको चार जातिवादी नेताओं से भय है, जबकि अंबेडकर का नाम ले कर दंगे की धमकी देने वालों के अनुयायी भी आपको वोट नहीं देते।
