Certain people think that prison doesn't work... idk.. in 2005 I hit a guy with a beer bottle... cost me almost half my 20s. It would have cost me more time, but my victim advocated for me. My life was a fucking mess. He saw that, spoke to the DA in private and my charges were considerably reducdd. Guess what? I haven't been violent since. Not that I can't be violent, but I won't waste that energy for the wrong reasons.
My truck is 25 years old and has 149k on the odometer. I keep a full tool set, a 6 ton floor jack and a pair of jack stands in the bed. I can swap any part that doesn't require the engine or transmission to come out, on the side of the road, in a rainstorm if necessary.
I've taken an Uber to the nearest Autozone and back to my broke down truck and been on the road faster than it would take a tow truck to show up.
All four of my kids, including the three girls, will all be able to do the same. They will all leave my home with the tools they need to do so.
Question for the men in the group: do you know how to fix a tire? If you got a flat tire, would you fix it yourself or call AAA?
(I do not need my tired fixed. I’m doing research.)
@DelandMoshaw15@fourboxesdiner If a liquor store owner can own a gun a weed dealer should be too. Shall not be infringed was not written with a list of exceptions.
What state are you in? In Oregon background checks cant see OMMP records because they're considered medical records protected by HIPPA. I personally know several growers who have been raided, gardens destroyed and guns confiscated. If the DA declines to pursue felony charges, the firearms are returned. And these are growsites with zero medical cards or rec licenses... because only pussies get caretaker cards or obey plant limits.
@FenixAmmoHR I know people who have had their guns returned after their farms were raided. As long as the DA didn't push for felony charges the guns were released.
@CJB4221@EricLDaugh For the same reason habitual alcohol users should be allowed to have a gun. As well as every single American citizen. Shall not be infringed was not followed with a list of acceptable infringements.
@n9i4n@EleanorDrives@WallStreetApes Or you dont like advertising and are willing to pay a few bucks to see less or none of it. Same reason I pay for Spotify. I pay to not be the product.
I personally think the location for this was intentional. In 2020 when we had really bad fires from Ashland to Medford that destroyed a good portion of two towns along the way, and another big one that blew in front California into Cave Junction and Obrien. The governor wouldn't step foot down there for a photo op. Josephine county in particular is one of the higher population counties that vote consistently republican. So the state send some woke liberal with no ag experience in to run an ag program with a focus on inclusivity without regards that the average farmer is probably religious, who were then excluded.
Video of the panels being returned... there's a post somewhere about OSU trying to cover their ass about the whole ordeal. They replaced the county 4H head with a local who has a history in the club before the end of fair.
The yellow rig was stored at my neighbors, with the panels. After I drove by and got a picture if it parked up top they moved it to their lower field but I could still see it from my hay loft.
They're all lucky the concern was the equipment being returned and set up before animals started loading in the following week so no charges were pressed as they were immediately returned with a sherrifs escorts when they were confronted.
