The LA Clippers will acquire Max Strus via the $17M John Collins TPE they created earlier this offseason.
The Cavs will be roughly $46.3M under what will now be a first-apron hard cap after acquiring Peyton Watson via S&T.
If Watson starts at ~$20.5M, that will leave ~$25.8M for the Cavs to offer James Harden, who will fill their 14th mandatory standard roster spot.
@OCELeoo@sickbillygoat_6@BobbyMarks42 They legally can’t go into the first apron so even if they wanted to give him $100M per year they couldn’t. So suck it
@Melog25@PulseCleveland If the Cavs said (at that time) we’ll trade your Lauri, Ochai and picks for your young 3 time all star you think that deal getting done? Works both ways bud it’s called a “package” for a reason
@Melog25@PulseCleveland You can use hindsight all you want that’s the low-IQ way to look at things. When the trade happened the centerpiece of the return for the Jazz was Collin Sexton. This is not a hard concept.
@PulseCleveland@Melog25 Ah yes you give a big (at the time) extension to a “throw in” coming off a torn ACL before ever playing a game for his new team
Sound logic 😂
@Melog25@PulseCleveland Ah yes the guy on his second contract averaging 15 and 6 as a 7 footer was the centerpiece over the guy they gave the extension to during the trade. The trade never happens if they don’t include Sexton either btw. Dumb take.
@Xxxray35567@_KingOfHarts@lockedupjb If this Hawks team was in the East of 3 years ago they’d be a top 5-6 team. This year they seem destined for the play in. We do need another big like Nick Richards and I’m all good then
@PulseCleveland The guy who was the centerpiece of the Donovan Mitchell trade and averaged 20 per game while in Cleveland on efficient shooting? That Sexton? Not our fault no one else knows how to use him.
Garland is a 2x all star and only 26 yet
Windler was a whiff yes
Stop the hate
@Xxxray35567@_KingOfHarts@lockedupjb I’m a believer in Toronto also they have a chance to have a better regular season record. Atlanta and Miami? Bruh😂
