That's not entirely true, is it @BobbyMarks42? He could sign a 2+1 deal at his max next summer, opt out after the second year, and then sign at an even higher max. Implausible but possible.

Here is the difference of Jalen Duren signing with Detroit for 5/200M compared to the Qualifying Offer and max salary in 2027.

There is certainly a significant risk and Duren needs to know $189M is waiting for him, but there is not much difference in the $$.

Hey, @DLocke09. I haven't seen transcripts for Locked On Jazz on Apple podcasts in a week or so. As someone with hearing loss, those have been invaluable. Is this just a switch or a setting that can be fixed? Thanks in advance for looking into this!

As demonstrated in this clip, this should have been an offensive foul by RJ Barrett in the playoffs vs. Cleveland and resulted in a turnover. This will be called from now on.
