New word in #conlang Zango: "vedla" = plant species such as Wedelia a.k.a. Sphagneticola, named in honor of botanist Georg Wedel. The vocab of Zango grows at a rate of about 10 words per year, no rush, I mainly use it to write "note to self" in situations where I need privacy.

Walked around my garden listening to the amateur fireworks last night. Strangely pleasant to hear booms and whistles coming from all directions; none were especially close to me. I was surprised that I didn't hear any voices— no shouts or cheers, and no music.

@tlacamazatl Reddit (partly due to the UI redesign) is turning into a place where people glance at an image for half a second, upvote or downvote, then move on to the next one. But any social media that allow images might go down the same path.
