This is an absolutely insane claim. If there were 600,000 unexpected marginal deaths in one year, then the dismantling of USAid would be having an effect similar to the peak of COVID in the places where aid had been cut.

We would see the mass graves in satellite images. There would be villages where all the children had died. There would be very real, very visible widespread human carnage instead of these widely cited and entirely ridiculous estimates based on questionable statistical analysis.
