I met Martin Brundle in 1986 while working Formula One at the Detroit Grand Prix. His car (Tyrrell) broke down on my corner and we got to talk for about fifteen minutes. He is one of the friendlier and approachable Professionals Racers I have ever met. He had a long F1 career with an average team, but had great success as an endurance racer, winning Le Mans and Daytona 24 hour races. He has spent the last few decades working as a commentator for British F1 broadcasts during the race and interviews in the pre-race pits. My grandfather raised beagles for hunting rabbits. They would chase them for hours, but never caught any. They did have a lot of fun! He named each beagle after his grandkids, even me! That is what beagles were meant to do. Not for any purposeless lab experiments. I say that as a scientist.
