@Rob_ThaBuilder @DrPlantel I think women should get as much support as possible for postpartum. No one is going to argue that anyone should get more time/support for a hernia. Creating unrealistic and adversarial arguments does nothing to further practical ways to support moms.

@Softykjr @GovBobFerguson It's this ITEP study he is citing. It's related to sales tax being our revenue driver vs income, lower income = sales tax is a bigger percent of your income on consumption taxes. He also omitted these are state/local taxes, not accounting for federal and business taxes

@Softykjr @GovBobFerguson I don’t know the specific data he is referring to. If it is accurate it’s probably due to very high earners getting most of their income from capital gains and or business which have more ways to optimize tax strategies bringing effective tax rates down.

@Aella_Girl @Quinurum @Colin_d_m Many of my church peer group were homeschooled. Dispite my libertarian leanings, it feels to me homeschooling has a higher likelihood of harm. Most of the parents motivation was to indoctrinate a specific way of thinking and shelter from secular thinking. Ignorance maxxing

@Aella_Girl @Quinurum @Colin_d_m My guess a homeschool socialized person may be better in small group, cooperation oriented, work/living. From what I’ve seen of you my background is not unlike yours from a Christian conservative, anti “worldly” values standpoint.
