Iran seems to be stalling right into the midterms and into the SPR running low.
The US has been waiting for a response for weeks now, running some covert operations which finally got met with real response over the past few days.
The strikes announced for tonight and the recent response to the Helicopter seem to be a way to further disable the costal defenses to create more leverage.
Given the lack of time and the asymmetrical time element that puts the US under pressure each passing day we will likely see mounting and exponential attacks into the next weeks.
The question now is how much does Iran want to push back into the final deal to get to the desired terms.
If they wait too long Trump will probably go full scale as there won't be much to lose at that point.
Iran needs the US to be able to walk away from this with a win or avoiding real pain in order to close in on a beneficial deal.
Either way both sides are currently losing, and doing so more each day.
The deal seems to be coming down to reparations, control over the strait and nuclear (odds decreased from 60% just 2 weeks ago to 30% now).
As the endless war with Iran re-escalates, gold and silver are once again under pressure. Gold just broke below $4,200 and silver is approaching $64. But the bullish case for precious metals actually got much better because of the war, and the longer it lasts the better it gets.
For years, hospitals kept Americans in the dark about the true cost of care. Families made medical decisions without knowing the price—and too often got hit with bills that drained their savings.
That ends now.
Under President Trump’s leadership, HHS is enforcing hospital price transparency with real consequences. @DrOzCMS and I have a simple message for hospitals: Post your actual prices. Come into compliance immediately—or face serious consequences.
As we reach self reinforcing loops of AI intelligence benchmark improvements we won’t even be able to fully understand what it does.
The new ant is human.
Mythos…
Jeez, and I thought GPT5.5 was great.
We are starting to reach levels of intelligence that we won’t be able to even comprehend.
AI is now approaching and achieving better results than the best humans in developing its own intelligence.
Okay this is genuinely insane.
SpaceX just unveiled a satellite whose only job is to run AI. Not internet. Not GPS. Just compute, floating in orbit.
It's called AI1, and the reason behind it breaks your brain.
AI data centers on Earth are hitting a wall, not a chip wall, a physics wall.
They need staggering amounts of power and water just to stay cool, and we're running out of grid and land to build them.
So Musk's answer is: stop building them on Earth.
In orbit, the sun never sets. Free power, 24/7. No water for cooling, you just radiate heat into the vacuum of space. The two things choking AI on the ground barely exist up there.
And here's the wild part: Musk says it's easier to build than a Starlink satellite. Strip out the complex antennas and it's "a lot of solar cells, a radiator, and some laser links."
One AI1 carries the compute of an Nvidia GB300 rack, the same hardware data centers fight over down here.
AI1 is just the first one. The plan is a constellation of up to a million of them.
And the timing isn't an accident, SpaceX goes public this week at a ~$1.75 trillion target. This isn't a rocket company anymore. It's positioning itself as the power grid for AI, in space.
The race for AI compute just left the planet. Literally.
@SpaceX
Marcus Aurelius was right when he said the crowd will forget you no matter what you do. So the only real question is whether you spent your years chasing their approval or actually living for yourself.
This is biblical.
A woman in her eighties. Ten years into Alzheimer's. Hadn't spoken a full sentence in five years.
Takes one, 5 gram dose of psilocybin.
She slept 19 hours and woke up and spoke for hours about her life, recognized family and held real conversations. She regained bladder control after five years, walked on her own. and dressed herself. Gains held for weeks.
To succeed in the game of power, you have to master your emotions. But even if you succeed in gaining such self-control, you can never control the temperamental dispositions of those around you. And this presents a great danger.
My hot take...
There is absolutely no reason why you should spend more than $5,000 on a wedding if you’re making less than $1M+ a year.
I literally got married in a parking lot wearing a $150 dress from Anthropologie with roses from the grocery store… and I was worth a few 8 figures.
The modern wedding is nothing more than a huge financial cosplay we’ve normalized for pure performance sake.
Today’s price action will be critical as to whether the recent patch of euphoria has blown out or just needs time to consolidate.
My job as a trader isn’t really to predict which one. My job is to interpret the charts as they develop and view outcomes as probabilistic.
What Friday’s meltdown means for me is I won’t be trying any momentum long setups for a while. Consolidation needed, but a ton of names were riding on air and got taken to the woodshed.
