@TripsWithTykes "Masking in solidarity"--that's the phrase I was looking for when trying to explain to my husband why I was wearing a mask at our CA hotel yesterday. Everyone seems to have forgotten our <12s in all of this.
@MagicalOverload The day after my 16th birthday. Since I turned 16 on a Sunday, I took the day off from school and made my mom take me on Monday, although I think she was just as anxious to have me drive so I could take over some of the household errands.
@TripsWithTykes I just got one at Safeway Pharmacy, and it was super easy and I was the only one there, even on a Saturday afternoon. I was going to take the kids to get theirs there as well. I don't think they have an age limit.
@msrachelteodoro@HamiltonMusical It's on shuffle at most times, playing on one or more of our Alexa devices. My tweens can't get enough, and I have to dance along to the end of "You'll Be Back" Every. Single. Time!
@asthejoeflies Our governor did the same early on, then reversed his position when the hospitals started filling up. Mayors and counties passed their own mask ordinances overnight, but some are still holding out. It's such a mess!
@asthejoeflies Audible is awesome. I highly recommend, especially for kids. You can even pause your subscription for several months and trade in old books for new ones without using a credit.
