365: Santa’s Progress from @DalesideBrewery. 4.2% Festive Golden Ale. So this is it...365 ✅’s. Amazing. Ending with a cheeky wintery golden ale with season fruits & spices, mixed with some dark malt & hops. With xmas on the way, Santa might be progressing but my quest is done!🍻
364: Evil Elf from @rudgatebrewery. 4.0% Festive Golden Ale but one with plenty of biscuity malty goodness mixed together with some tropical fruits. I think it’s fair to say the festive ale have become less ‘experimental’; which is a good thing. 🍺
363: Lushington’s Sunshine Pale from @Skinnersbrewery. 4.2% Pale Ale with plenty of hops mixed with limes and lychee. Certainly the lightest ale I have had from Skinners; even got a lager drinker to try & enjoy this one.
362: Robin Red Best from @LaineBrewCo. 4.5% Christmas Red Ale that’s ideal for a windy winters day by the fire. Some toasted malt with biscuity notes. Tidy.
361: Original from @SharpsBrewery. 4.4% English Bitter that was an unknown one to me. Tastes like a classic old English Ale with a strong roasted malt with just a bit of hops at the back. Sounds like I was lucky to be able to ✅ this one off, as it now a local brew only.
360: Prophecy from @bathales. 3.8% Pale Ale that offers that new world dry hop taste however it’s mixed with some tropical and zesty fruits to create a rather nice session level ale.
359: Jingle Ale from @BaysBrewery. 4% Winter Ale that offers and delivers plenty of biscuit malt mixed with some sweetness ending with a nice hoppy finish. Pleasing another festive ale that isn’t trying to hard to make something weird & hard to drink. This is wintery goodness.
358: Landmark Pale Ale from @StAustellBrew. 4% Cornish Pale Ale & you’ll never guess where I am? This special ale for the hotel @ Lands’ End is a near golden ale pale, with some hops and plenty of bitter notes. Ideals for the gale coming off the Celtic Sea. 💨 🍺
357: Logan Rock from @StAustellBrew. 3.5% Pale Ale made for @LoganRockInn. If you’re ever heading to Lands’ End, take a little detour to Treen to enjoy this wonderful pub. As for the ale, it’s an solid pint. Darker than some pales but still with subtle citrus mixed with hops🍺
356: Proper Cracker from @StAustellBrew. 4.3% Ruby IPA & you’d never guess I’m in Cornwall eh? This is a festive ale, but also a quality ale. It’s got hints of xmas spices, mixed with all you’d expect with a good Ruby Ale; but it doesn’t taste like a gimmicky ale... a nice pint.
Might have to start a campaign to get some of this ale shipped up to London 😄@Nicholsonspubs, you might have some sway; this should be available in your pubs. It’s an excellent ale.
355: Cornish Best from @StAustellBrew. 3.5% Best Bitter, & a bit special. A clean & crisp bitter that mixes the hops & barley perfectly for an excellent session ale. With Proper Job & Tribute being everywhere, are the Cornish drinking all of this to stop it appearing beyond? 🍺
354: Hicks from @StAustellBrew. 5% Cornish Ale that’s one that I’ve never heard of or seen outside Cornwall. A dark golden ale with plenty of malt & hops. Full bodied, but not at all heavy. One I really should have already known about, as it’s a belter 🍻
