On hot summer days, don’t keep food at room temperature for more than 1 hour.

[RASS0378 @378RASS0378]

Bacteria is killed by heat: raw meat must be cooked to a safe temperature.

[RASS0378 @378RASS0378]

Use separate utensils when handling raw and cooked meats and don’t place cooked meat on the same plate used to for raw meat.

[RASS0378 @378RASS0378]

Wash hands before and after handling raw meat.
Clean and sanitize all cooking equipment, utensils, work surfaces, cutting boards, etc.
