Last week, Airmen from the 388th Fighter Wing and other units from @HAFB completed a regional Agile Combat Employment exercise with the F-35A Lightning II, operating from forward and contingency locations.

Airmen from the 388th Fighter Wing will sharpen their combat employment and readiness capabilities during an exercise here next week. Tooele County and Wendover residents will notice increased aircraft activity and military presence. No disruptions to local services are expected.

If you live in or near SLC, you may have noticed some aircraft activity last night. Six of our F-35s were diverted to land at Salt Lake City International Airport due to weather conditions at Hill Air Force Base. Salt Lake is often used in inclement weather.
We'll be night flying through March - scheduled to be completed most days by 10:30 p.m. This training is crucial for our pilots and maintainers to remain combat ready.
