We excelled as far as non-profits go, we were just a bunch of “dumb grunts” trying to help our brothers. It was the support from all of you that made us an incredibly successful, 100% volunteer, non-profit organization.

We hope all of you will continue to support organizations that help our combat Veterans. There are still so many men and women out there that need help and need your support.

As for us, we would like to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

This was not an easy decision for us to make and did attempt to avoid it by finding successors or changing board roles. With those options falling through, we have no choice but to close our doors.

This has always been a 100% volunteer organization and because of that, it has become overwhelming for the Board of Directors, the Advisory Board, and all members trying to keep the non-profit up and running.

It is because of your support we have been able to stay true to our mission and help combat Veterans in need.

With that said, it is with our sincerest regrets that we inform you that, 38VFR will be closing our doors.

This is the 100th anniversary of Armistice Day (Veterans Day). Originally called Armistice Day and is still know as Armistice Day by many countries. Major conflicts of WWI formally ended at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918. #38vfr
