@LordTorinaga@Vipra_s When so called religious scholar will decide then where is the choice? And issue here is hijab and school uniform, no one is banning hijab outside school.
@Perplexed1947@bainjal No religion is against polygamy but point is law prohibits it for Hindus, Buddhists, Jains, Sikhs, Christians and Parsis while allows it for Muslims (and some tribals).
Even under Muslim personal law, I guess Polygyny is Allowed and Polyandry is Banned.
So, Congress's #SmashThePatriarchy ship sank on the second day, because congress will never promote progressive ideas among Muslim society rather they continue to appease conservative section of Muslim society.
Congress views Muslims as a vote bank, so their backwardness matters.
Whether the hijab is essential to Islam or not is for religious scholars to decide.
From a socio-political standpoint, we stand firmly for womenโs bodily autonomy and agency.
Every woman, irrespective of caste, class or religion, is entitled to wear what she chooses โ hijab, ghoonghat or anything else.

@nousnetwork So, all the rioting that was done in the name of Pakistan from 1940 to 47 was done by rich Muslims who were allowed to vote and poor Muslims who were not allowed to vote didn't participate in rioting and arson for Pakistan?
When did RSS demanded Manusmriti? Manusmriti is not the only Dharamshastra (law book) out their, there are multiple, infact Hindu code bill of 1955-56 (later split into 4 acts) is based on Mitakshara and Dayabhaga school which were more prevalent than Manusmriti.
women supporting RSS is peak irony. you enjoy every right the constitution gives you while defending an ideology critics associate with the manusmriti which relegates women to a subordinate status. at least be intellectually consistent, it won't hurt much.
@sanjeev__kapoor Su-57 comes with a cost and its not just few billion dollars but also restricted access to American market (CAATSA sanctions), which will impact our growth and our people. As a country is it worth to sacrifice this much for a fighter aircraft?
China will continue to squeeze middle income nations. Beijing knows that building influence overseas is as critical as improving production competitiveness for keeping the export machine humming.
1. China has no choice but to run a massive trade surplus to prevent GDP growth from stagnating. The negative wealth effect from the real estate shock and a rapidly deteriorating demographic profile will squeeze consumption. Meanwhile, high domestic debt has been racked up to build export-focused industrial capacity. Overcapacity can be rationalized only up to a point. Youth unemployment remains stubbornly high so robot-augmented labor intensive manufacturing remains a focus. Overall, the export market share must be protected at all costs, otherwise the financial, strategic and social ramifications for China and the CCP will be significant.
2. Measures to protect and grow export market share include undercutting competitors with state subsidies and outcompeting them with technology efficiency gains. This will be complemented with threats of denying pharmaceutical APIs, critical minerals, batteries, PV cells, communications technologies, industrial equipment and other strategically important products.
3. China sees its path to global hegemony involving the domination of Asia and the establishment of a tributary system. This effectively means locking out the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia from prosperity. Given the stage at which most countries in these regions are at, industrialization is seen as the primary means to lift production, income, employment and consumption. Denial of these will ensure permanent dependence on Chinese goods. Means of denial will involve political subversion, media manipulation, financing of disruptive, anarchical elements, and bribery. This keeps potential competitors permanently off balance which elevates Chinaโs relative power.
4. In the pursuit of global hegemony, China is intent on controlling physical and digital trade chokepoints. Overseas naval bases and a blue water navy are expected to guarantee the flow of imports and exports. Wider adoption of Chinese financing - through Panda and Kungfu bonds - will also create dependencies. Beijing is incentivized to leverage CIPS to tie countries to trade. Threats of Chinese sanctions will grow on countries that purchase goods from competitors and through non-CIPS and SWIFT channels.
@peeleraja Look at geography, states bordering Nepal (UK,Sikkim, Bihar, maybe upper areas of UP) have high meat consumption, while vegetarians states in India are mostly found in norther plains (HR, UP, GJ, RJ etc.)
'Main Hoon Na' is best example of subtle propaganda. In the movie it is shown that Pakistan army wants peace and an ex-Indian army officer wants to sabotage the peace initiative.
While in reality it was reverse.
Ex: From Kargil to 26/11 attacks done by Pakistan.
Show me a bigger PROPAGANDA than this piece of ๐ฉ ! Imaginary Hindu โarmy manโ Raghavan is shown โfanaticโ for not aligning with Aman ka tamasha nonsense with a rogue state of ๐ต๐ฐ This nonsense was being fed to Hindus for years in the name of entertainment

The fact ๐บ๐ธ can weaponise any dependence at drop of hat would have shocked GOI to the core. Expect diversification to happen big time to create alt access to mkt, tech, etc. Also some degree of rapprochement with ๐จ๐ณ. Just like ๐ฎ๐ณ didn't forgot 1971, it won't forget 2025 either.
@pind_wave@jammypants4 really wanted to know what are the views of an ordinary Pakistani on 26/11 attacks and actors (like Kasab, LeT, Hafiz Saeed etc.) related to it. Because many in India believe it was an watershed event in indo-pak relations.
Dear Vinesh, It is said that sport is a celebration of human will. I have known that to be true many times in my career but never has it resonated more than today. As I look around me, I see a nation and its people celebrate your unyielding resolve.
You are a fighter โ on and off the mat. Through you, we are learning what it means to never lose the fight in us, even as a loss weighs heavily. You embody the true spirit of a warrior.
Not all victories look alike. Some end up as a glittering souvenir in a cabinet but the ones that matter more find their way into the stories we tell our children. And every child in this country will know the champion you are. Every child will grow up wanting to face life with the resilience you have displayed. I thank you for that.
Respect,
Abhinav Bindra
