Trusting his highly refined skill set, he confidently steps up in man coverage to press at the line of scrimmage, while also possessing the spatial awareness to sit back and effectively operate in zone. Pollard does an exceptional job of staying firmly in the hip pocket of the wide receiver, fluidly mirroring their every step and practically running their route right along with them. This textbook technique ensures he is consistently in the best position possible to fiercely contest every single pass thrown his way.

​In the modern game, run support is an absolute must for a defensive back, and Evan embraces that physical responsibility with open arms. Operating with a true enforcer's mentality, Pollard has a natural proclivity to quickly fill the tunnel and forcefully enforce run responsibilities on his side of the field. His sheer determination and high-revving motor constantly fuel him in pursuit, relentlessly chasing down the ball carrier from all the way across the field to secure the tackle. Whether he is breaking up a pass on the perimeter or disrupting the ground game, Evan proves his immense value as a complete, multi-tooled defender.

​Having played extensive time and honed his craft at the collegiate level, notably battling with the Avila University Eagles, Evan is highly dedicated to his football journey. He fully understands the daily grind required to continue pouring himself into the game and is actively working to elevate his technique. Armed with a blue-collar work ethic and unteachable defensive instincts, Pollard is incredibly excited to keep progressing and officially earn his spot as a professional.
